I came here to post a possible issue with one of the calcs, so opening the thread to see this:
Is a little ironic sadly.
Anyways, not sure how big of an issue it is, but the proportion measurements on the calc of
Adam's destruction of Pentious's airship are a bit off. In The calc, Adam's height is used to measure the minor diameter of the ovoid body of the ship, then comparing that to the proportions of the pilot airship. However, the measurements on the proportions of the minor diameter are a bit off, since the vertical measurement goes from the base of the airship body to itself. However, the proportions of the pilot airship only measure the top of the airship body to the lower body section above the cabin. Basically the airship is made up of two ovoids smashed together., while the first measurement of the minor diameter treats it as one ovoid.
Granted, I think the calc could be done better overall, including pixel scaling on the extremities and, and also using better scaling off of more full images of the airship, but I thought I'd just bring that up.
