Jebediah Christoff VS Hazbin Hotel Staff

  • Both have access to everything (Jebediah's likely 8-A rating is restricted, and Charlie has access to her transformation)
  • Battle takes place in Hell, infront of the Hazbin Hotel
  • Speed is equalized
  • Neither have prior knowledge on eachother
  • Combatants are 10 meters apart
The Savior:
+Far more skilled than them
-Crazy stat disadantage without shields and equipment
-Zeds he summons are more or less fodder (They vary around 9-C to 9-A)

Hazbin Staff:
+Stat advantage
+Number advantages
+Charlie can become 7-C
-Less skilled than him

Inconclusive:

Will probably write a fanfiction for whoever wins, cuz i can't think of anything to setup this fight rn maybe i'll add it later.

He probably dies to Alastor’s shadow attacks since they are pretty damn hard to dodge if you don’t know about them, plus Husk has weird asf abilities that could let him land a hit.

I don't remember much about Alastor's tentacles are they really that tough to dodge? I don't remember them doing anything that was super notable with their targetability.

Which ones? Husk's cards can be shut down by Christoff's forcefields and TAC-BAR

His shadow can suddenly strike from below or behind you, its really hard because who tf would except a shadow to hit you lol

I am bring fr I still don’t understand his abilities so I will respond to this later if I do

Ironically enough probably Christoff. Not his first tango with living shadows.

I will note that Christoff does like using flight, so Alastor probably won't get the chance to do that stuff unless Christoff decides to ground himself for the fight.

Real asf. Suppose we can come to that when it's understood.

I mean yeah but that was more of a living shadow fighting him than someone’s shadow randomly turning real you know? And whats even worse is that he literally got hit several times in this scene 😭 Idk I think making him fight the entire Hotel is pretty unfair for him

I also see he lacks any negation, so how does he even kill any of them really?

If he fought any 1-1 he'd stomp since he has Mid regen+all the other shit when he has the halo on his head, and he'd probably still win even without the halo due to the skill difference.

They don't have low-godly regen. he can kill them fairly easily using the halo since it's powered by Dissonant Reality.

Just give them Angelic Weapons lol

You gotta destroy their souls, they can survive exploding into blood or being fully digested and shit. Its gonna be pretty damn hard

I refuse to believe Madness Combat has anything like that
They have stuff a lot higher than that, stuff like The Machine and The Maker view the verse as fiction and as a dream, controlling shit like plot and fate.

Please can the title of this thread be changed?
it seems really disrespectful. Just use Jebediah.

I don't care about the match, but I don't see what seems disrespectful about the title. Isn't the character's name or alias or whatever literally Jesus?

yes it's literally the name he goes by for 90% of his appearance in the series. He goes by "Jesus Christ" and is canonically because he takes up the image of the religious figure due to his messiah complex. I don't see the issue with the title.

In his fight against Adam, he literally uppercuts him with one, I don't really think Christoff would predict something like that, especially when most Alastor forms rely on him going larger or just making shadows carry him, requiring him to keep looking up at Alastor, so he gets cooked by it.
Don't see how this negates their immortality or affects the soul in any way? Unless I'm missing something.

Probably the reaction speed amp he spams.

Low-High regen gets ****** by Matter Manipulation which goes above Low-High regen.

Jesus Christ is a name affiliated with and commonly referenced to as the son of God in biblical terms. It’ll be much more appropriate if it’s just Jesus (a brazilian name). The full name feels too specific and targeted. Please change it.
"A magically-augmented telekinetic weapons master who has chosen to adopt the image of a certain two-thousand-year-old messiah." - Real ass statement by the creator.

His entire shtick is that he's a dude who took up the name and image of the biblical figure, Jesus Christ. It is the name he took because he believes himself that he is a messiah to Nevada. The name is specific because that's the point of his character. It's been referenced in series as his name. It's not an issue. The wiki which the creator refers to many times even refers to him as Jesus Christ.

Don't see how reaction speed would save him from something he doesn't expect and doesn't know of.

Mb didn't see that, though it seems to take some time before being fully shot, and we see it being shoot from a very close distance, why Alastor likes to generally fight by putting a lot of space between him and his opponent to spam tentacles and shadow minions, and Alastor has dealt before with someone charging up before (Adam's axe) and blocking it.

Because it'd be moving slower than a snail's pace. He'd clearly see the shadow coming out of the ground and dodge accordingly. (Under the assumption the tentacles count as melee attacks ofc, idk if they count as ranged attacks here)

Only a few of his abilities have start-ups like that. His more spammable move is just a nexus bolt, which he can just fire from his hands willy nilly.

Depends on how you define "ranged attacks" considering they aren't used for close combat, Alastor just uses them to fight people from afar.

What does nexus bolt do?

the TAC-BAR covers stuff like;

Bullets
Grenades (and their explosion)
any vaguely thrown weapon
Light (from flashbangs)

Gestalt actually has a tentacle attack, i might go check if the TAC-BAR covers that. if it does it'd presumably cover Alastor's as well. Give me a bit i'll check and we can come to this. Edit: they can hit through the TAC-BAR, so Alastor's tentacles can tag Jesus if he can manage to catch him.
What does nexus bolt do?
It's just a small little bolt of Dissonant Reality which he fires from his hand. It "tracks" the opponent when it's initially released but can still be dodged. Video if it can be seen here. Basically just a speedy little projectile.

Is there a speed value for it? and does it scale equally to Christoff?

I literally edited it right when you sent this lmao, but no the tentacles don't effect the TAC-BAR so Alastor's tentacles should be good to hit Jesus as long as he can tag him.

they upscale above his current rating.
To be honest, with this I feel like Alastor can probably take him alone?

Alastor has a single advantage and that's his tentacles, which can be immediately shut down by;

Reaction amps
Forcefields
Sniper which is over 6x stronger than Alastor
Flight

Alastor cannot do this alone.

Reaction amps
Didn't you just say Alastor bypasses that via tentacles?
Forcefields
Wouldn't that scale to his durability which is 8-C in this matchup, so Alastor can just destroy them?
Sniper which is over 6x stronger than Alastor
Aren't both bullet-timers anyways?
Alastor fought Adam who had comparable speed and still managed to keep great throughout the fight.

Reaction amps and his TAC-BAR are two different abilities.

His forcefields scale to the 8-A rating, not his 8-C rating.

Yeah and he can tag bullet-timers like Hank.
Alastor fought Adam who had comparable speed and still managed to keep great throughout the fight.
And adam is a guy with zero skill, Alastor is fighting a dude who's a lot more impressive here.

You made it sound like they're the same.

Fair.
Yeah and he can tag bullet-timers like Hank.
Bullets tagging bullet-timers, makes a lot of sense!

No skill sure, but the fact he's superior to Alastor and Alastor pretty easily kept up with him says something about how Alastor's fight-style works great, it's not like he'll easily get close to him with getting bombarded with multiple tentacles and shadow minions.

You made it sound like they're the same.
mb chief. Instinctive Action is the TAC-BAR, the perception manipulation is the amp on the profile.
Bullets tagging bullet-timers, makes a lot of sense!
I mean, when two bullet-timers fight and they both prominently use guns, with neither having any intention of letting the other live, one of them gotta hit the other eventually.

Sure he could. He could use The Halo numerus ways to get himself into a situation to take out Alastor. He could summon zeds, throw nexus bolts at him, just straight up bull rush Alastor like he did here.

Alastor doesn't, and in the recent fight with Vees he created somewhat of a shield that helped him block the attacks, not to mention his intangibility would help.
He could summon zeds, throw nexus bolts at him, just straight up bull rush Alastor like he did here.
What the hell is a Zed? (They seem to be fodder too.)

He can, but I don't think the nexus bolts would do much damage to him, unless they are their own thing and are totally unrelated to his AP?

Don't think bull rushing would work when Alastor likes to turn into shadows to escape from stuff.

His gun would be 6x stronger than any shield Alastor can conjure up. Jesus has non-physical interaction due to Nevadean Physiology.

Zombie/Zambie/Babies whatever you wanna call em. They go by many names. The undead.

They carry the same aspects as Dissonant Reality. If he gets hit by that he is not gonna be okay.
Don't think bull rushing would work when Alastor likes to turn into shadows to escape from stuff.
Then he'll move on to the rest of the cast, who will get turbo-****** by Jesus.
Aren't MC characters just so unbelievably skilled it doesn't make any sense?
yeah, million year combat experience scaling, going through facilities filled with people who can one-shot them, fighting people who are absurdly stronger than them and winning, the goofy stuff.

I changed the title of this thread. 🙏

Sneaky shadow act would do the job, which Jebediah will most certainly not notice while trying to defend against all other sorts of attacks.

That was one of the parts that was disproven as he'd be using his reaction amps, flight, and 8-A+ forcefields to easily avoid them.
