Chainsaw Man discussion thread

Wonder if Pochita could get the Devil's he's eaten as Optional Equipment, considering he can barf them out for surprise attacks

This is a pretty tricky thing to discuss cause every devil that we see Pochita erase have been Type-2 / 3 concepts. However, theoretically affecting the Future Devil can be considered Type-1 I'm pretty sure...? But then you have to consider how much the Future Devil embodies in terms of being the Future Devil (whether that be everything that's ever going to exist for every temporal object or just more localised thing); does that mean all events simply cease to exist after Pochita chomps down or does that mean everything is just gone since Pochita's powers affect time in the past as well? Things can get messy.

I've actually considered this before but the concept of Pochita needing to barf out something like the Nazi Devil for some reason is a 💀 moment.



aaahhhh the fact that death is gone now, makes me hopefully that asa can somehow survive part 2 while killing yoru via separating the 2 halves of her brain like in the part 2 teaser (like how part 1's teaser was called back on in makima's defeat). please fujimotor 🙏 🙏 🙏

yeah, conceptual manipulation type 1 seems POSSIBLE, what is the most abstract concept that was mentioned in CSM?

Unconfirmed, but she was a weaker devil. I don't see why being weak would mean she would go from a normal-looking woman to a bird though. Regardless, the horsemen are not using "human forms", they just look like that. Yoru being the exception as she's using Asa's body.
 
Hm. This chapter also kinda confirmed that Pochita can regen without his heart. That bang clearly blasted through it
 
While CSM is relevant at this time I need anyone to help point out notable speed feats that can be calced for good results. Anything in the supersonic to hypersonic ranges is good. (Ignoring the Reze movie until it releases digitally)
 
Now that I think about it, how can we scale Fami? Even Fakesaw Man said she was really weak, but her concept is theoretically more feared than other devils like the Fox Devil. So, I guess she’d rank around Small Building level?

It's strange, I have motivation to work on the verse but imgur blocked all UK users so I can't without convincing everyone to use a different image-hosting site. Guess I'll just backseat sandboxes like War and Death.

Might be a highball but Reze flying upwards in ch88 would be wanky if you consider the explosion to still be ongoing and not just be the dust cloud left behind (It seems like that to me)
Edit: that would most likely only be travel speed tho

It still would be nice to have instead of "higher" with explosions on her profile. Could you take a look at it?
