Rex has a chance at winning if he can prevent Reze from transforming. Given this scenario, she would engage him in H2H combat in base form. She wouldn't transform unless he forced her to, for example, with a mild injury.
Even then, I believe Reze takes this. I think her martial arts and general combat skills would be superior to Rex's, as well as her experience as a child soldier and assassin. The AP of Rex's explosive items would be a problem, but it's nothing Reze can't avoid. She could also slice off his hands with her knife to weaken his offense. In general, I see Reze winning much more often than not, so I'll vote for her.

I'm looking at Rex's profile rn it says that his explosion is comparable to someone like The Immortal so does that mean his explosion alone would just disintegrate Reze long before she could transform?
