dragon ball has different profiles for the anime and manga because different things happen. Roshi unlocks ultra instinct, Gohan fights Kefla, and Zamasu makes millions of clones of himself in the manga. As opposed to Goku having ultra instinct, Goku fighting Kefla, and Zamasu becoming an abstract being in the anime. It's not just "this version has better feats", it's "these two are separate and have their own canon". And I didn't ask which verse uses the anime, because there's several verses that do. It's a matter of "this is canon" and "this is not".
