Sonic General Discussion Zone Act 1: New Frontiers

This just seems to prove that what Chris meant by "canon" is something entirely different than what the people asking him meant. The fact he calls them non-canon because they "weren't real" is proof enough on the matter.

Can't believe people were using his response to try and "debunk" the status of Otherworld Comedy lol
Never trust anyone from the lore team, that's what I always say.

Do we have much information on Heaven? Where Tikal and Chaos ascended to in Sonic Adventure.

Could the Digital Dimension's heaven possibly correlate to that one? Especially because it isn't specified if that's the Digital Dimension's version of heaven, it only says it shifts between heaven, hell and digital space at random.

I think Ian explicitly said they left it vague as to whether the Emerl fight was an actual piece of history re-emerging in Shadow's mind or if it was all fabricated. One of the few times ambiguity is actually done well in the series at creating an engaging narrative.

Personally, I'm under the belief it actually happened. Shadow expresses no awe or confusion at the appearance of Emerl (granted he had Gerald by the throat), and we know Shadow has a true level of awareness because he started noticing things being wrong

He also specifically says “The timing’s wrong…” When Emerl blows up the other side of the Ark, I think, which implies that really happened and he really fought Emerl, but that the moment’s are being fused together in time. (In his head).

The time-space interception COULD also have its own sense of past, present, and future as Eggman says defeating Solaris "here and now" would mean nothing.

Here's my bad attempt at a visualization, does this make sense

wide solaris
he was just hungry, cant a superdimensional time god eat a few timelines every now and then?

EDIT: But yeah he's mainly wide to show that he's present in the past present and future. Even if he's only present in one period of the past and future it still shows there's some form of time bc Solaris is in the exact same position in the exact same place. And since the story stressed there's at least one past and future Solaris that means there's a weird form of time here

Timelines got too many calories

Quick question, is it possible for Sonic restoring space-time in Generations to be calced to speed? specifically restoring stuff like stars since they appear in the zones or is that too unquantifiable?

Wondering mainly due to this video

Damn, I remember this video, his calculations place the feat of restoring (one universe) in the vigintillion (10⁶³) times the speed of light. As far as I know, if that were acceptable, it would be the greatest quantifiable speed feat in the entire franchise.

Restoring space and time with speed is immeasurable.
Only issue is that I don't think we know the exact science for it yk? That being said it does sound immeasurable. Tho bc of how confusing it is I went for if Sonic restoring stars with speed could be calced

Pretty sure we'll never know because Sega is content to wave it away as "magic" that Sonic's speed has in some fashion or another.

But speed and restoring/accelerating/travelling through tme is a good way to net yourself some sort of Immeasurable rating because of the Speed formula (S = D/T, where S is Speed, D is Distance, T is Time). Because Sonic's speed is restoring time that no longer exists and then accelerates it, he breaks the speed formula as all Immeasurables must.

Unfortunately, it probably wouldn’t be accepted here because FTL KE is unusable.
That said, if by some chance it was accepted it would be the fastest quantifiable speed feat I have ever seen.

I don’t think it’s really how fast Sonic moves as much as his speed itself has special properties or power level or things like that.

Oh yea bc EXE was mentioned earlier in the thread, it reminded me of this drawing I did a while ago back when I was more into EXE stuff. I still think it holds up pretty well despite a couple flaws like Sonic's huge eye

The idea here was a hypothetical series where Sonic would go to Lord X, Needlem0use, and Rewrite's worlds and defeat them. Rewrite being the final boss of sorts and the most powerful enemy. Ofc it wouldn't be just the fight and there'd be character interactions and such like the tragedy of the NM series and Lord X's idolization of Sonic. but the most basic idea is the fight lol.

Dropped the upvote, Time Eater shall erase the competition

Also I like that little TE drawing you posted, where'd you find it?
We unfortunately lost that one🫠

A friend showed me it on Discord, no idea who it’s from, but you could probably find them if you can decipher the signature in the drawing🤷🏻‍♂️
