Welcome to the First Match of the Second Round of the 1st Island Ravagers Tournament! (Bracket) (Event Leaderboard)

On the blue corner, we have Luz Noceda, submitted by @HonestlyBored24
On the red corner, we have Prime Tomato, submitted by @FlipLaScript
Duel 5, let's go!

Luz is 1.46 Gigatons, up to 289.6 Gigatons with Quirks, with 4.3 Gigatons durability. Tomato is 370 Gigatons. Tomato has 86x AP advantage over Luz's durability while having 1.27 higher durability than Luz's Quirks

Season 3 Luz is used. Her regen is lowered to High-Mid (Thus this can't be added on the pages)
Prime Tomato is used.
Anything above High 6-C is restricted.
Starting distance is 20 meters.
Everything else is SBA.

I'll begin ig >:3

The first thing would be his heat: any one hit from Prime Tomato is going to instantly kill Luz. While she does have regeneration to counter base AP advantages, his fists directly vaporized Helse Syr, that of which requires Mid-High regeneration to recover from. Luz has Low-High at best, but for the sake of the tournament it's been reduced to High-Mid (at least so I saw), so regenerating from the attack isn't an option :3

Does Luz also have a resistance to heat? Also yes, but it's not strong enough to counteract what Prime Tomato can export. Helse Syr has Surel Physiology, which gives him resistances to heat of the level of Experiment 88. Her heat resistance is 1648.89°C, while Experiment 88 was capable of hiding in the earth's 5200°C core. Despite his 5200°C heat resistance, he still got vaporized by the thing, so Luz getting hit once would be the end of her :0

In her weaknesses section, it states that "Luz is not very skilled when it comes to actual combat, and her main strategy in a fight is 'throw random bullshit at the enemy until they stop breathing'". I'm willing to bet that this will be less of an issue in her current key, but it's still notable >:3

Her current heat resistance is the same as current Pyrokinesis temperature for the same reason as stated on the resistance justification, but the heat difference would probably be enough to fry her. I don’t think Luz would lock in fast enough to start using her instakill moves before Tomato vaporizes her, so the Tomato should have an easy dub here.
