The fight starts with Lute charging at Vaggie and getting her sword caught, missing her swing and having to rely on her flight to get Vaggie off her, then missing again and accidently lodging her sword in the wall, and somehow getting disarmed by Vaggie while she had a spear embedded in her hand lol

All of Hazbin is ass when it comes to skill.
Though, Lute MIGHT get upgraded in terms of skill if Season 2 gives her anything (I doubt it. it's the Vees central this season. Speaking of with this season we can probably make a team profile for the Vees.)

And the fact that the relationship is recent and that Stolas believes/uses it's just an excuse for them to see each other is more in line with the interpretation of the relationship in Season 2 and the consequences it entails.
As I recall, in the original pilot, Stolas' dialogues only showed his sexual desires, which changes with the new pilot, where it is noticeable that Stolas likes Blitzo.

it doesn't based on Adam but, like, think about it for a second
Forbidden fruit not to be eaten, eats it anyway, eating fruit causes sin while uprooting the balance (And, depending on a person's interpretation, literally split the earth in half), get into heaven anyway. Don't you see how that's a little weird?
