question regarding HGR.

Probably, though it is depending on fiction, also, what kind of HGR?

imagine a character exists as a concept. but he has a higher form of existence like a "true self" or smth like that.

would regening from the destruction of all of that constitute that a higher degree of hgr?

What is this trueself is about?, isn't this Solo Leveling issue?

I guess a verse can do a weird thing where there's some higher concept that already encompasses their concept of existence and they can regenerate from that higher concept, or they can regenerate the higher concept. I guess you could apply the same logic to any other metaphysical aspect too.

more or less, i'm just trying to figure out whether this is actually even possible, because quite frankly it doesnt make sense to me. High godly is supposed to be regeneration of a fundamental state of being, if this true self exists beyond your concept then it would be that fundamental state, if your concept is destroyed & then you regenerate from that but still have some other abstract thing remaining that would kinda be an anti feat for high godly no? cus you cant have 2 fundamental states of being.

cus you cant have 2 fundamental states of being.
you can. or else we wouldn't recognize plot erasure being able to fundamentally erase someone who can regenerate their concept since they cant regenerate from destruction of that specific aspect (plot) and vice versa

This seem like normal HGR with an immortality type 8 based on the True Soul

i worded this wrong, i meant there cant be smth more fundamental than the fundamental aspect, its kinda contradictory.

type 8 wouldnt work since the true soul also gets destroyed in this situation.

Yeah no, i don't think it is a higher degree or layer, we have some similar characters from MGK such as Graham who can regen even from the destruction of his true nothingness which is kinda his true form beyond his normal source (concept) and his HGR is still listed normally, or Lay have multiple sources (concepts)

This is just yap ngl.

For graham I am pretty sure he just still exists,j it’s in deeper states of nothingness, while in the case of solo leveling

Everything has either light or darkness.representing existence and nonexistent self’s.

So it is the case where when your existing concept is gone, you return to your nonexistent version that exists beyond it.

For monarchs both thier concept of existence and their concept of nonexistence are destroyed.

It would essentially be two concepts one more fundamental and closer to their source (absolute nothingness) then the other.

Concept of existence->destroyed->return to your concept of nonexistence->have that destroyed as well.

I would think having a fundamental concept beyond your conceptual self would be higher degree or layered. And in this case that concept is nonexistent nature. So higher degree of high godly via conceptual and Nep.(even erasing both their existing concept and nonexistent concept (two concepts) would not be enough to kill them
