even then, basic ce resistances grant resistance to the stuff ren has outside of madness and age manip which is only present in very few characters in the verse and Im pretty sure Gon is not a royal guard or meruem

but im pretty sure the meruem statement refers to the physical or destructive power of Adult Gon as singular kicks from the guy was enough to make Pitou shit bricks

Nen Crush is layered, otherwise the Royal Guards and Meruem's Nen Crush wouldn't be nearly as busted as it is in-verse, also Netero with Post-Mortem Nen absolutely has layered Nen Crush as his works on Meruem despite his cracked resistance to it.

well im pretty sure Sukuna should resist it pretty well due to how basic sorcerers have resistance to fear manip and paralysis inducement but also how higher tiered curses such as special grades can scare those weaker sorcerers and then Sukuna has his own level of fear manip that scares special grades such as Jogo.
