IMO this seems like a pretty urgent topic of discussion for the literal health of both a dedicated mod and the entire forum/wiki, deserving of the most immediately possible discussionWell, I have cut down significantly on my forum work at least, as it was completely unmanageable to BOTH respond to 80 to 90 threads AND handle all of the wiki edit patrolling every day. The rest of our staff will mostly have to collaborate with handling our forum.

I recently requested a 12 days "vacation" to do some intense studying during this time. So far I have only received 3 administrator or content moderator volunteers to together handle my edit patrolling during this time, and our community likely needs at least twice as many, so unfortunately I currently do not have high hopes for being continuously sufficiently helped in this area.

However, please understand that western society has turned considerably harsher for regular people in recent years. It is very understandable that our members have to prioritise their livelihoods over helping out with a hobby. Although unfortunately my health is suffering as a partial consequence of this, and I am worried about that it will collapse sooner or later.

I think that a lot of people care about this community, and if push came to shove, we'd figure it out.I do not know. There seem to be extremely few staff members who are willing and able to properly handle all of the daily wiki edit-patrolling, and definitely not every single day year in and year out like I do. So we just have to hope that my eyesight and physical health do not deteriorate and that I do not develop arthrosis. All of what I mentioned are risk factors for me.
You also have to consider that many people may not feel motivated to do the same kind of work precisely because you handle so much of it, and so they do not see all the degradation you are actively preventing. Or perhaps they feel unqualified and are deciding to leave it to the people who are already handling it rather than risk messing something up.
I would foresee a period where everything goes to shit a little, but then a rally where new people step up and wrangle it back to something manageable, fill in roles, etc.
That said, while I'm a lot more optimistic, I definitely don't want you to leave anytime soon. Your work aside, I just really like having you around.

I low-key got a new sense of respect for all the stuff content-mods and admins do after trying to use that system; it's useful for sure, but damn is it a lot lol (still haven't figured out how to mark an edit as "checked").We do have a program installed for sharing the edit-patrolling work, but it unfortunately doesn't seem to be used much, or maybe it is just not functioning properly. I honestly do not know.

I've found Vzearr is trying to help out a lot with edit patrolling even now. He's also the one who sent me the page for the edit patrolling which was better than what I was using before. Him, Butler and Ant are the only staff (former or current) who've been helping me to get used to the job and do it properly. Twilight OP has been good as well though.

Vzear definitely seems to be trying to help a lot. From personal experience maybe try some balance instead of jumping from extremes.
You went from being completely gone to being hyper-super-mega active to disappearing completely to now coming back again.
I think being a bit more in the middle, where you're still active but not posting 10 threads a week, could be better for your mental health. So you're not completely missing but also not overwhelming yourself
