If Sauron isn't a higher dimensional being then it doesn't help his mind manip resistance. HDE only really helps with hax because of the large size

What exactly are this guys wincons against the Soloking specifically, besides Genjutsu just not working. I legitimately don't think anyone presented a wincondition for Sauron. Which makes the FRA train kind of laughable.

The potency blog doesn't matter because its more or less powerscaling for genjutsu. Like sure, it does show that there is a superiority chain when it comes to genjutsu, but the scaling never proves that Sharingan or its superior forms ever evolve to the point where they can affect higher dimensional beings.Naruto: Genjutsu Potency
Hell, if you really want an anti-feat for the Sharingan, look no further than Kaguya Otsutsuki or the Otsutsuki clan in general, who are massively evolved beings that make regular ninja look like chumps and are possibly only beings closest to obtaining godhood.
Now, despite it being marked as "possibly" in this case, the point still remains that even Sasuke, who by that point has obtained the most powerful genjutsu in existence would very likely struggle to use the Sharingan or its derivatives against the Otsutsuki, and he's much more powerful than Itachi had ever become.
Now factor in Sauron being an actual higher being, having stated resistances to illusions via his Ainur powers, and also having a soul that makes him immune to mind control due to GOD HIMSELF granting all souls that power, and there is not a single chance that Itachi could get Sauron to fall under his ability, much less make him do anything to begin with.
