Star Wars Discussion Thread Canon/Legends- Episode VI Return of the Threadi

In one of the new comics revealed that the process that brought him back had an unexpected defect, which limited his control of the force. This also why he was decaying so badly.
Lol but seriously, I can guarantee the writers didn't think it through. I'm sure they realized at some point when they blended the drafts together, they didn't have a believable way for the heroes to beat Palpatine, so they killed 99% of his brain cells so he could lose. Lol, this is the same movie that put plot points into Fortnite instead of the actual film.
Is the first one really true?
I think they could have made his defeat more his fault. Like, his personality.

Like, the Dyad overwhelmed him because it was meant for two people to share, not just one to have for themselves. So the final "battle" could just be Rey trying to survive, and in the end, the Dyad's power would end up overwhelming Palpatine and destroying him in a way that he couldn't come back from.

Maybe under normal circumstances, but the script went through a bazillion rewrites. So, I think Palpatine's defeat was probably a rush job lol.

The Star Wars quality-control-to-potential-profit ratio

The more potential profit can be rung out of a product, the more the risk of quality control loss increases

At least that's how it feels

I was looking at that comic that takes place a second after episode 3 (darth vader (2017) #3) and it's kind of funny how Vader goes into ignorance with the Force Choke.

Bro, they should've NEVER changed the director.
Imagine instead of Disney taking the blame for creating something that's ass, they being able to throw the blame at that one guy?
Or better yet, imagine if the guy actually did something nice just maybe not for everyone (like The Hobbit, also JJ Abrams')?
Or even closer to our reality: just don't change the director again and now that you let this other guy take control, let him have that s**t until the f*ing end????
those and the fact that one of the few times I saw George Lucas saying something was to say that he doesn't appreciated the sequels, is why, to me, in my head, in my house, think that they're spin-offs of an alternate reality.

Something I noticed with my recent crts and @Naeem0304 crt
The more time passes, the more I dislike the way I designed the Force page. In terms of organization.

It was my first attempt at a general P&A, and it was quite large; I think I ended up getting confused. I divided the Force Powers section and the sentients' stuff because my idea was "in the Force Power tab, I would describe the Force Power and what it does, etc., while in the Sensitives tab, I would show why that Force Power is standard for them." But it ended up being very confusing (especially when it comes to including references). Like, the vast majority of things are for general use, and according to the "Star Wars Book," only a few are categorized as "rare" (the book gives examples of Force Echo, Yoda's absorption, and Bond). Plus, the Jedi are already fully trained in the ways of the Force.

Besides, these days, I prefer to create a large collection of scans that involve the same subject and always include references in each image on Imgur, along with the Wayback Machine if it's a website, something I haven't done before.

lol, well, living and learning, right?

I am back!

What's new?

Yeah. Why do you think people thought that ending was stupid, especially since he should have possessed her due to the whole "If you kill me I'll possess you" thing he mentioned.
Also not to mention, it's really confusing how Rey even defeats Palps, is she forcing Palpatine's lightning back on to him or is she using her own Force Lightning on Palpatine through the lightsabers for how dumb that sounds?

I like how this looked like a video game character profile for a sec

Hey, I was already a fan of Tarre Vizsla for being a Jedi and a Mandalorian at the same time, but I just noticed something that made me like 10x more fan of him

So yall remember that The Armorer told Din Djarin that beskar weapons are a huge no-no because "beskar is only for defense and armors", ammo at best. So it's a taboo for them for like, hundreds upon hundreds of years to not do this

Then Tarre Vizsla, making the Darksaber 1000 years ago (meaning this was already a thing cuz mandalorians are there for like 3000 years), simply made it out of beskar and he is such a bigus dickus that EVERY mandalorian accepts that and would like to wield that weapon.
F***ing amazing.

Palpatine was playing with Mace Windu
“Toying with the Jedi Master in anticipation of the arrival of Anakin Skywalker, Palpatine was willing to allow himself to be disarmed to appear more vulnerable when his soon to be apprentice arrived.”

Does anyone have a good mind to calculate the heat of a lightsaber? I asked Chariot a guess and he answered this:
Probably like 30k based on EP1 where Qui Gon stabs that blast door and it begins liquifying

Do you have the book below in your library? It has more information on lightsaber shapes and techniques. It might be a good addition to the blog.

Holy shit, my MagnaGuard imgur stopped working. Damn copyright.

The problem is, I only find out if I click on the link without being logged in or if I send it to the public. And what makes even less sense is that if I click and enter the imgur link address in just one scan, I can see it normally.

Anyway, one of the scans I saved was the one below, if you want to use it.
The second is the most interesting, as Grievous trains the guards in the seven lightsaber forms and battles with them. This shows that Grievous knows how to use them and can fight against guys who also know them. Although, I already mentioned in my blog that in the Jedi arts, the Jedi practice the seven lightsaber forms, so it's really not that new; it's more of a Grievous-specific extra.

The thing is, the second source is from a card game, so use it if you want; I personally don't see any problems.
