Sonic General Discussion Zone Act 1: New Frontiers

The website still says "Drift through dimensions", and it also mentions traveling through "worlds" with the Travel Rings. I think you have the idea in that it's more likely that only specific places are simulated, or, there was miscommunication within SEGA regarding the game's context and development.
In fairness, a simulated multiverse can very well still a multiverse in its own right.

And yes, it helps that there are like 5+ statements referring to the tracks as dimensions/universes. So I think both can be true at the same time.

If anyone still wants to hope they are not simulations
Maybe the simulation will be Tails' personal theory of what is happening because he doesn't believe Dodon Pa could actually make such impressive dimensional travel, but by the end of the game he'll believe those are the actual things

To be honest, this is what I'm expecting. Tails had a pretty surprised reaction when he learned that Dodon Pa could send summons to Blaze and Silver through space and time in TSR. But I'm kind of against this idea because of Eggman's response, which confirms what Tails theorizes, So now we have two of the greatest geniuses in the franchise agreeing that the tracks (or at least the Cross Worlds) are simulations.

Some users on Twitter were debating about this earlier:

As a suggestion, just because someone makes a simulation of something that exists in something, doesn't mean they had to create it to the same scale. Dodon Pa's cyberspace simulation can just be the basic structure of the street and wouldn't be seen as different by anyone who was in the actual cyberspace.

Now I'm really looking forward to the prequel comic and the animation, since the game won't have a story mode, I hope we get some direct explanation about this "simulation" of the tracks in one of these two.

Out of curiosity what Sonic Racing Crossworlds track are you guys the most excited for?

For me it's probably Wonder Museum because not only did I love the vibe of the ost but I also liked how the exhibits became stage hazards although the skeleton dinosaurs coming to life was especially cool to me.

This.

While I do buy Dodon Pa making Low 2-C spaces, we have no evidence it's of the same scope of Cyber Space. That would be an easy downgrade waiting to happen for any potential Dodon Pa profile

Of course, perhaps some offhand dialogue changes that (for example, a comment from Sage perhaps).

If there isn't an indication as to how Tails would know if Cyber Space is simulated by the time everything is out, then I'd personally assume he's speculating or assuming. You wouldn't be able to mentally interpret and factually know "simulated" about an area just by glancing at it, after all.

Wonder Museum is cool. I like the skeletons coming to life on lap 3.

Northstar Islands is interesting. I'm curious how they'll set everything up as you go from zone to zone. I also really, really really love the "golden overcast" feel of Kronos in CrossWorlds. Minecraft World is also exciting.

I mean... we SEE a starrt sky, so he is clearly going beyond what we actually travel through

The point was about people wanting to scale it to the actual cyberspace, whose reasoning for be Low 1-C goes beyond what is seen on the surface. Even if they go to outerspace inside cyberspace and see whole stars and planets, that wouldn't be reason to actually scale for Low 1-C

FAir enough ig, i do agree on a 2-A ratings tho

Depends. If we see celestial bodies in these tracks then while your sentiment holds true there seems to be much more simulated beyond the track we race on.

Twitter can suck a big, meaty, black **** because their tastes are almost always shit.
I read this in a British voice bro. But yes, Twitter is the joint where you find all the worst opinions you've ever seen in your life, and genuinely life drainingly bad bad-faith arguments. It's strange how this site of all places has better takes than most of Twitter and other other forums.

It's probably because at the end of the day, regardless of how occasionally heated things can get here this website is still collaborative at It's core, while Twitter on the other hand is about engagement which incentivises being inflammatory because that's often what people engage with.

That's my two cents at least, who knows maybe Twitter being a cesspool is more accidental than I think it is instead of it being by design like I suspect.

LOL!

Twitter is where true agendas thrive

I have to imagine it's by design to boost engagement as much as possible

Twitter is very bad, especially western twitter. Where people harass and wish death on real people for the sake of drawings.

Hm, returning to the subject of tracks being simulations, I find it extremely strange that something like this was not mentioned in one of these Crosstalks, perhaps in one solely talking about the tracks?

Also, "Dr. Eggman's most powerful creations (and Egg Pawn!)" Sage, Metal and Omega upscaling?

also it is said that Sage is using the titan head...just that, not even said she build it, she is literraly using his head
