Yeah Striker was fine, I just feel like he was made the butt of the joke too often after his first appearance made him seem more threatening.
 
I like the bad romance of the second season, if you analyze the whole relationship as a single thing (using the info that the 2nd season gives you to review the 1st again) I think something decent comes out... Now, I'm not going to rewatch helluva boss, I'll only see the new stuff.

you could see how loneliness and the lack of actual relationship affected the first one, and how the trauma and self-loathing (combined with bad relationships, ended up by himself)affected him.
one lacks self-awareness and the other lacks self-love.
