Invincible season 3 discussion

I saw this a while ago, but haven’t been online recently to post anything. Has anyone posted or mentioned this prior on any other thread? Is it usable in any case?


One of the other aspects that I really enjoy about the show is that Mark is young. He makes mistakes, and he learns from those mistakes. He’s a somewhat erratic character by design. And it’s something that we’ve worked very closely with Steven Yeun to develop. We’re constantly pushing this character to make bold statements and then go against those statements. And be very definitive on, “This is the way things work.” And then go, “Oh, crap, that’s not how things work. I have more information now. So now I’m doing this.” Because that’s kind of the life that we all experienced as a teenager, I think we’ve all had very passionate arguments when we’re very young about things we don’t really know anything about. And then later on, I was like, “Oh, I was kind of a moron.” And it’s fun to see a character go through that same process while he’s able to crush planets.

"WOG fallacy" means an author blatantly stating a character is X level despite there being no feats to prove it

For example, DaFuqBoom saying UTTM can destroy mountains even though there's no proof UTTM can do that

Kirkman clearly sees viltrumites as casual planet busters but people will put a million buts to the scene that's meant to showcase it 😴

It's some decent 5-B support for the TV Series but we need to get an actual 5-B feat in the show in future seasons to upgrade him
 
If there were to be a Guardians of the Globe team profile, would Donald technically count as a member ? He's assisted in some missions

Also, is there any way to put both him and Brit in a match and make that valid ?

MFTL+ flight speed should bare minimum look like this but it doesn't at all
latest


Also, someone already commented on how iffy the Season 3 multipliers are. As it is, the entire verse may as well scale to MFTL+

Invincible AP, Speed, and LS Upgrades

Titan was able to fight on par with Battle Beast and Mark (Pre-Thraxa Fight) can fight on par with Titan. This should upgrade all of the Low-Tiers to "At least Low 6-B, likely far higher", "Massively FTL+", and "At least Class T, possibly Class Z" This is further proved by Oliver being faster...

Dude don't jump the gun making CRTs. Those comments were to point out how flawed the scaling of the series can be, not an actual argument. The series entire narrative falls apart if everyone is viltrumite level

Also, MFTL+ Titan getting constantly tagged by regular bullets ?

We can't just go with the highest possible rating with these characters when we see they have caps, imagine if Marvel did that. Immortal is currently MFTL+ and The Maulers could keep up with him despite the fact regular bullets can tag them
This is why I insist on a Varies rating for certain characters, that CRT will come in due time

At this rate we might have to wait till season 4 releases so we can get a re-calc of destroying Viltrum but with ke to be the catalyst for the 5-A upgrades.
Also since Space Racer's Gun blatantly destroyed a star in the show (caused it to go supernova too, so it should be High 4-C), them destroying Viltrum will likely get to Tier 4 for the TV Series.

Infinity Ray is also stated to be able to destroy stars on it's own in the comic

It's only rated as "possibly" 4-C on the wiki rn. That could upscale the Viltrumites to "possibly" Low 4-C if a calc gets accepted accounting for Space Racer's gun being that potent upscaling the durability of Viltrum. It could possibly get an upscale to possibly 4-B since it's stated to be able to destroy "anything", and since planets and stars are listed as examples it could be put over Neutron Stars. This would also upgrade the Viltrumites to "possibly" 4-B if a calc for it gets accepted. I made one on another site that could be used? Though we still have half a dozen pending calcs lol, so it'll be a while before anything gets accepted.

Oh that's true, I forgot that there wasn't a CRT made for that profile.
I guess all the upcoming CRTs for the verse would be
  • Space Racer CRT
  • Comic low-mid tier speed overhaul
  • 5-A comic upgrade
  • 6-A-High 6-A or 5-C-Low 5-B TV Series Upgrade (Why has this not been looked at by CGMs?)
  • Tech Jacket comic stuff (A lot of Tier 4-3 feats/statements)
unless I'm missing something.

I'm gonna post the Omnipotus CRT in a bit.

Also, add to that a final P&A CRT for what hasn't been revised of the verse yet No, seriously, people have to stop making profiles just because they can. Before our current efforts the only profiles who were legible at all were viltrumites, the rest of the verse is so half-assed I'm wondering why they bothered with it. Like, Yeti only has a handful of appearances and his profile is somehow missing his regeneration
 
Please let's wait til the Season 3 and Speed CRTs before throwing even more profiles to the verse
