Literally title wild lion vs cheetah who would win?

The Cheetah can psuedo speed blitz but only for like the time he gets there and not the Cheetah attacking said lion. Once the Cheetah gets close, its pretty much GGs.
Hell, Lionesses can easily kill cheetahs so imagine what a lion would do to a cheetah. I wouldn't say this is a stomp because a cheetah may or may not get some hits in but all it takes is a swipe for the cheetah to become some minced meat.
Lion, no diff. Maybe a stomp but not 100% sure.

I don't think it's a stomp purely because real life animals are prone to messing up sometimes. As an example, in some circumstances a Zebra can kill a lion.

But yeah, the Lion wins most of the time.

Lion easily...wth

Lions are physically stronger and weigh more so in a fight it would easily just pin down the cheetah and start mauling it.

The speed is virtually useless here since it's a travel speed advantage that can only be used to run away from the lion. Furthermore it has to accelerate before reaching top speed(meaning at melee range it getting mauled), it's claws are much weaker, and after running it's gonna be to tired for a fat 9-10 seconds (since unlike humans it can't sweat and needs to rest and gain oxygen after burning a f*** ton of energy) allowing the lion to kill it


Overall this is a pretty big stomp and there's a reason why everytime something, especially a lion pulls up on a cheetahs kill, the cheetah runs away without hesitation
