Fist Of The North Star Revision Part 3 (High 6-A Scaling)

What are the arguments for both sides?
If I remember correctly, it’s because Jukei was the one who made this statement, a character with not only intimate knowledge of Kaioh's power but who also survived and witnessed the nuclear war that wiped out most of the planet, as well as vaporized all of the world's water.

An issue with this is that the statement is quite vague by itself, as Jukei never directly compares Kaioh's power to the nuclear destruction. Additionally, now that Jagi has been downgraded to Island level and it’s unlikely that we’ll apply the 3.33x multiplier for each arc, and even if we then high tiers would just peak between the Teratons to Petatons of range.

Not disagreeing exactly, but wondering. Is there more context to this? I mean, even if Jukei knew firsthand the nuclear disaster and Kaioh's power that IMO doesn't create an immediate connection. It would be different if he had said something like "A power far greater than the world has ever seen would be unleashed" (though it would still feel a little like a figure of speech), but what he says could easily just mean that Kaioh would be unstoppable and that would be disastrous, since Kaioh is a horrible individual and him going unchecked would indeed be horrible. He emphasizes how his martial art is evil, Kaioh being the greatest monster of all and his evil power would be unleashed.

Again, which members should I send notifications to, due to that they participated in our preceding FotNS revision threads?

Also, what do we currently need to do here? 🙏

What am I supposed to do? I'm not a calc member nor content mod
Well, hopefully to help with input and information.

Anyway, what do staff members currently need to help out with here, in terms of calculations to be made or evaluated, or other revisions to be evaluated, for example? 🙏

If somebody explains this, I can call for help. 🙏

There is still this issue as well...

If you want help from our staff, you need to clearly define what you need our help with exactly. 🙏

Continuation of the two previous thread, here its will instead focus on the High 6-A scaling from Kaioh's statement.

To determinate which characters should trully scale (or more accurately downscale) and how much, as well as determinate if its valid.

This was the major point of discussion, beside that i also learn new things which had been brought about in DEATH BATTLE! Discussion Thread which could upgrade the series.

@Twellas would probably be able to explain better, but its based on

Try asking staff that's not necessarily related with FotNS. Given it's a rather straightforward scaling revision it shouldn't be much of an issue.

I personally still think what I mentioned before. I don't think they were being literal with Kaioh and it was more referring how disastrous it would be for such a powerful and diabolical individual to run unchecked.

As much as I love HnK, I feel like the current scaling has to go. To take ''a disaster of unmeasurable proportions'' hyper-literally when the statement is in it's very essence hyperbolic seems very far-fetched. I think it's very unlikely that he meant Kaioh's power is greater than anything he's ever withnessed.

I also want to note that I have a huge issue with the ''the seas dried up'' scaling, as the world still has an ocean. The characters literally travel from Japan to China ( The land of Ashura ), sailing on the ocean between them, the distance between the 2 spanning over 800 kilometers ( That's quite a lot of ocean. And we can't exactly say Japan to China is the only place with an ocean, as water in it's nature seeks a level, meaning it has to be evenly spread across the entire globe ). This implies that either 1. The statement was retconned later into the story. or 2. The seas that dried were only the local bodies of water, and not the overall ocean of the Earth. In any case, the whole calculation of the nukes vaporizing the ocean would be invalid.
