Ecco does seem to go in range often so likely will try to move far to then shoot at range via the special beam cannon it got

Which, like I said, gets blocked. Also Kenjaku can also have curses active on the other side of countries and restrict Ecco' movement with barriers. He can also fly which eliminates the risk of getting knocked into the water as even if Ecco manages to hit him while he's in the air he'll be able to reposition himself before he goes under. In addition, curses passively fear hax, so if Ecco gets near a curse (and they will because they cannot avoid millions of barely, if at all detectable curses) they get incapacitated.

Yeah Kenjaku just has way too much shit for Ecco to realistically counter. Like, wtf is she supposed to do against ******* Garuda messing with the concept of her gravity and forces her to be grounded by smashing her back down to earth.
