Yep! I'm probably going to do Jadus first since he's got like 10 minutes of screentime then I'll work on the other three since they're mostly congruent.Chances are, they don't
Holy shit. This is way more detailed than what I had in mind yet still concise enough to easily read. Good workWhat do you think?

Darth Marr solos the entire Jedi Order in Republic era except Yoda.Feel free to send me character statements/feats.
I just ask that you always link to the references.
Does the current canon interpretation of Luke vs Vader treat him as specifically more skilled? From what I know, it's a trading of blows at a similar level that is then compounded by a greater level of power due to Luke tapping into the dark sideFeel free to send me character statements/feats.

The main point of episode 6 is that Luke never succumbs to the dark side; he comes close, but it doesn't happen.Does the current canon interpretation of Luke vs Vader treat him as specifically more skilled? Yeah, he doesn't succumb to the dark side. I never claimed that. Only that he tapped into it due to his angerThe main point of episode 6 is that Luke never succumbs to the dark side; he comes close, but it doesn't happen.
The database states that he uses anger, but anger isn't the same as accessing the dark side, since some Jedi battlesaber forms utilize anger without accessing the dark side.
Furthermore, even if he had used the dark side, it is currently accepted (in vsbattle) that the dark side confers greater combat ability, so it would be the same. And I'm not sure that the increase in physical power this way is as direct as DB.
Although Luke uses Force Choke at the beginning of the film, was it only considered a dark side technique decades later?
I don't think so. I think it was more in the context that it was at this moment that Luke truly fought with all his might.Only that he tapped into it due to his anger
"Your hate has made you powerful" Sidious saysI don't think so. I think it was more in the context that it was at this moment that Luke truly fought with all his might.
Throughout the film, Luke didn't want to fight/kill his father. He repeatedly refused to fight Vader.
And even in the final fight, Luke remains defensive for a long time, even hiding from Vader, telling him he won't fight him. It's only when Vader mentions corrupting Leia that Luke steps forward, wanting to truly fight seriously and go all out.
I see Vader's defeat more as Luke fighting seriously for the first time in the film, wanting to defeat Vader, than him accessing some aspect of the dark side and becoming more powerful.
As I said, I don't take this literally, since Luke was only really fighting for the sake of fighting at this point."Your hate has made you powerful" Sidious says
Bruh when pretty much every written version of that scene including the source material says Luke drew upon his anger and fear for power, that probably means he drew upon his anger and fear for power lmaoAs I said, I don't take this literally, since Luke was only really fighting for the sake of fighting at this point.
But well, if I ever put this blog up for grabs, I think we can discuss this further.
Thanks. Every little bit helps
Also, I found this in that legends skill feats blog. It was there because the first 6 seasons of TCW are in legends, but the source is obviously also canon
This is big. I'm almost certain similar statements exist for characters who are peers or inferior to Sidious in skill, which helps to indicate the skill level that Vader is at
But where else is the issue of becoming more powerful (like physically) mentioned? At least in the database it's only said that when using rage Luke attacked Vader more violently, dominating him.Bruh when pretty much every written version of that scene including the source material says Luke drew upon his anger and fear for power, that probably means he drew upon his anger and fear for power lmao
More specifically, Yarael Poof is a Prequel Era JediYarael Poof would be in the Rise of the Empire/Rebellion Era (1000 BBY - 4 ABY) as he is a prequels character.
I'll be working on the following profiles from here: Revan, Darth Malak, Darth Nihilus, and Darth Jadus. You'll see results given a few days.
Except for Asajj LOSING to an Inquisitor in her tales of the empireThe book Star Wars: Absolutely Everything You Need to Know came out in September 2015, and the first season of Rebels ended in March 2015.
So can we say that the top 5 red lightsaber users take into account the existence of the Inquisitors?
So [Inquisitors < Grand Inquisitor < Asajj Ventress]?
It's just that at that moment she was using a yellow lightsaber and not a red one, so it doesn't count.Except for Asajj LOSING to an Inquisitor in her tales of the empire

I made an update in the sandbox.Holy shit. This is way more detailed than what I had in mind yet still concise enough to easily read. Good work
I checked, and the scans used also appear in the 2017 updated version, so I think it's valid.I made an update in the sandbox.

Did you know the Star Wars: Absolutely Everything You Need to Know guide? We have to be careful when using it.
Despite being listed as canon on the fandom wiki and Holocron, it's said that the first version contains Legends content, and even a Lucasfilm member mentioned this. In addition to the incorrect content section,
So we should be getting information from the 2017 updated version (Star Wars: Absolutely Everything You Need to Know, Updated and Expanded). Unfortunately, I couldn't find any PDFs of that version.
For now, I'll keep those three scans that are in the sandbox (top red lightsabers, Yoda, master of all lightsaber styles, and members of the Jedi Council), but I don't think I'll post new scans of this unless it's from the 2017 version.

I'd like to offer my opinion.
I'd propose that you let skill feats get gathered, THEN make a skill blog for Canon and a skill blog for legends. I mean look at Darth Marr's profile, it has perfect skillwank.I'd like to offer my opinion.
If I were to make a CRT for this lightsaber combat sandbox,
Should I first propose the blog without the character statements/feats and scale, so that it would initially just be a demonstration of lightsaber combat and Jedi arts, or should I only propose it when I have a considerable amount of character statements and feats to form a skill scale?
Because I can release the CRT for the first one almost immediately after I apply the Canon and Legends separation. The second one will take a long time.
I don't do Legends stuff, just canon.I'd propose that you let skill feats get gathered, THEN make a skill blog for Canon and a skill blog for legends. I mean look at Darth Marr's profile, it has perfect skillwank.
Make sure to rate Rey properly! Rate her above Luke!I don't do Legends stuff, just canon.
what?Make sure to rate Rey properly! Rate her above Luke!
The thing about handling Disney is that you have to handle post-Endor Disney too!what?
I mean, there are some things to say bad about her, but like...It is a joke as people don’t take it well regarding Rey’s role and also thinks she is kinda a Mary Sue from what I heard from other ppl.
But... Battlefront 2 is cool. The thing about handling Disney is that you have to handle post-Endor Disney too!
I heard both bad and good reviews on the Sequel series especially the final film for that matter. The thing about handling Disney is that you have to handle post-Endor Disney too!
