He is even ignoring Zoltraak doesnt have the hax it should.
Mostly because Fern has like 10km range with Zoltrack, borderline danmaku, and can home these attacks in.
Being waterbound doesnt help, and she can manually alter her attack trajectory after firing, like what's he gonna do when 10 beams come from every direction? He cant dodge at that point. And if Fern increases her attack's mana density, they get a decent enough boost to where they can harm a character who prior they couldnt even phase.

Also ECCO IS GETTING A NEW GAME. Ecco stocks up in the big 25....
Ecco cant really do anything tho, Fern will in character spam danmaku and just carpet bomb him to death. Cant even dodge because she's been trained to alter her attacks so they come from multiple directions and even if he dodges, she can home her attacks in. His range is so much lower that he can't even hit her while she can do so without issue. If Fern started in the water it could be different but if they start even 15m away she's going airborne.

She stomps at range. Gets stomped within a few tens meters, even worse at shorter distances. We're basically told this directly, multiple times.
Not really a fight to be had, theyre skewed towards a specific fighting style to where circumstances simply changes who dominates the other, not if it's fair.
If Zoltraak was banned and it was at a distance it could be good as he can tank or powerthrough or deflect her other stuff so it becomes a battle of attrition and chip damage in which either could win. But you cant restrict her main attack so.... Basically a canon mismatch.
If this was the 90s you'd probably actually get crucified.

Why would I argue against him when I support Fern? I would argue against him but most of time we either go don't intersect or our opinion matches. I don't remember actually seriously arguing with him once.
