As I mentioned in my previous thread, we get to see Aki and Himeno do more things in the light novel. Here's some of the stuff they do:

At least Above Average (Fitting for his mature and stoic nature, Aki is an adept and shrewd Devil Hunter, being on the Public Safely Devil Hunting Force for 3 years — a profession where most "drop like flies" and end up dead or resigning in a year. His sharp intuition, investigative skills and ability to notice tiny details can be seen in his first mission, where he able to instinctively notice that the Loneliness Fiend’s crossbows were still nocked despite it having already fired its shots, a detail that even Himeno, a more experienced Devil Hunter, didn't notice. Additionally, managed to deduce the identity of Loneliness Fiend and also it's ability to kill a target's most beloved person using its arrows, all through careful observation of its behaviour and attack patterns)

At least Above Average (Despite her easygoing and jovial presentation of herself, Himeno is a extremely capable and perceptive Devil Hunter, being on the Public Safely Devil Hunting Force for more than 3 years with 6 different partners — a profession where most "drop like flies" and end up dead or resigning in a year. In hers and Aki's first mission, with just some simple questioning and surveying of the incident area, her intuition and investigative skills were able to accurately predict the exact time and location that the Loneliness Fiend would attack as well as the fact that one of the apartment wasn't occupied just from the outside—well before Aki could deduce the same conclusion)

Personally think, this should warrant an Above Average General Intelligence rating for both of them at least. But idk ¯\(ツ)

I'd say it would warrant an "at least Above Average" rating, considering the average Devil Hunter does not or cannot have average intelligence. This is especially true in the Special Division, where they have to fight stronger Devils compared to civilian Devil Hunters. Kishibe constantly trains new division members, and they still end up dying regardless. All this suggests that Aki and Himeno are simply special cases compared to regular Special Division agents, which is why "at least" feels appropriate to me.

Other than that. I agree.

I'm fine with having a "At least" rating, tho I don't necessarily agree with the second part when facing stronger devils don't really mean much when you could just have a busted devil contract, a luxury that most civilian devil hunters don't have.

And now grace is over. Honestly, whether the "At least" stays or doesn't stay for this, doesn't bother me too much. So I'll just apply this.

Thanks everyone that helped out again.
