Depends on how it works and what its been shown to copy.

To give an idea of how skilled her opponent is he's beaten master swordsmen as a child after only picking up a sword for the first time.

Not only that but generations of master swordsmen try as they might are unable to copy his fighting style even after again GENERATIONS of training and development.

While the other claymores took time to develop and train to gain mastery over them, Teresa used them on the spot. It wasn't just limited to sword techniques, with Teresa being able to perform Phantom Mirage. Since both Teresa and Yoriichi are sword users, she should be able to copy at least basic moves.

Ok, so Teresa was able to use the specialized techniques of other claymores better than the original users without having used them before and even combining them.

This is kinda the inverted version of yoriichis breathing style compared to other breathing styles where people that try to copy it can only use an ASPECT of it after generations of work.

While the other claymores took time to develop and train to gain mastery over them, Teresa used them on the spot.

It wasn't just limited to sword techniques, with Teresa being able to perform Phantom Mirage. Since both Teresa and Yoriichi are sword users, she should be able to copy at least basic moves.

Nothing here really suggests she can copy abilities on his kill level. What you've said suggests she at least has basic - slightly above copying ability by being able to copy other more experienced users of whatever technique is used but yoriichi did like the same thing as a tot. Entire clans of people with hundreds of years just fail to Imitate him. If there are scans of her copying more fundemental or complex abilities than yoriichi then yeah I could see her copying stuff but outside of just copying techniques and doing them better there isn't really anything here.

I wouldn't say Teresa could copy the Sun Breathing techniques outright, but her technique mimicry could help her keep up with Yoriichi's swordsmanship.

Kokushibo, the guy who failed to catch up to Yoriichi even after training for 500 years managed to master a the moon breath when not single person managed to learn it even with him actively trying to find a successor

the moon breathing is also inferior to the sun breathing btw, remained as such even after siad 500 years of trying to make it its equal

No doubt Yoriichi was insanely skilled. Though, would it enough to overcome Teresa's techniques. While speed is equalized, Teresa can further increase her speed with some of them. How would Yoriichi do against Rippling Sword?

he either uses the parhelion rainbow blitzes him and slash her head off (notice how akaza's punch is centimeters away from tanjiro's head before he uses it), or the equally bullshit fire chariot (the fist is again, inches away from his head) blitz her, and cut her head off

or he makes another form tailor made for killing her on the spot, loads of options lol

that would be assuming she can react considering the speed amps are fast enough that even a faster opponent's fist is cms away from you can easily be dodged like i previously said

just notice how close the fist is to tanjiro's face here and not only does he seemingly teleport out of the way, he even slashes akaza as he does

not only are those showings vastly inferior (not even comparable even, that doesn't look like a significant boost) she is also far less skilled in combat and Yoriichi is way smarter than she is

Yoriichi cutting down 1500 out of 1800 pieces of Muzan is way more impressive than what most people give it credit it, first, let's consider the fact that he would not only have to react to the speed of the pieces being literally explosively ejected away from his position at high speeds in many different directions (many of which moved directly away from him) but also have to in a split second process the fact that Muzan just exploded, think about the fact that Muzan exploded and reach the conclusion that this is an escape tactic on Muzan's part and that every single piece needs to be cut down, perceive the explosion and track hundreds of fast-moving targets flying in random directions. calculate how many there were, note their position, move and calculate the most optimal path to cut the most ammount of peices possible and strike with precise blade control to hit each one cleanly, all this before the explosion could propel any of those 1500 pieces that he managed to cut outside of his reach, and as a bonus he even manged to quantify their volume and note the 300 he let escape, if merged, would be roughly the size of a human head.

this isn't just a matter of pure speed and reaction times. he is actually able to process information and utilize it correctly in unbeliavably effective manner while being surprised by something completely unexpected happening

he would literally just glance at something and immediately deduce the most optimal path he needs to do something, making the 13th form on the fly to counter muzan's physique becomes natural and even expected with such a level of intellect

he also scales higher tha opponents who can instinctively dodge attacks too fast for them to see instinctively react to an attack with zero intent behind it even in a state of deep sleed can create fighting forms on the fly and and analyzes moves nigh instantaneously, she really has no chance lol
