- Mana is also the soul of beings, and this was proved by Charmcaster, a very knowledgeable character in Ben 10.
- Mana is also the essence and name of beings, as supported by Charmcaster.
- If a being’s mana is changed, their function changes as well, similar to when Charmcaster altered the essential name of a door. This caused the door to remain closed and not open for anyone, even if they said the true name of the place. It would only open for Charmcaster, despite its original function being to open when the true name of the place was spoken. And this has been supported where it is mentioned, “THEY GIVE YOU POWER OVER THINGS.”
- All statements of magic weren’t talking about magic—in fact, they were talking about Mana.
So, from the above, Mana should fit Type 3, since it is the essential name of beings and it governs the function of things, etc... And Mana users should have Conceptual Manipulation due to:
- Users possessing the ability to mine mana to empower themselves.
- The basic ability of Mana is to manipulate Mana itself, since users can completely change the essential name of a being.
So it should be like this:
Conceptual Manipulation & Law Manipulation (Type 3; Mana users can manipulate every mana, and the essential names of everything, the governors of their function, with it encompassing fundamental aspects of a being: from their energy, to their life, all the way to their soul.)

New Abilities (Mana Manipulation):
- Subjective Reality (It states that “The charms seem to react to Gwen's emotional desires—like wanting to embarrass Ben.” Later, in “Lucky Girl,” it states that the combined power/mana of the Charms of Bezel can alter reality, including making the book's spells real. This means mana can make the imaginary become real.)
- Non-Standard Breathing (Type 4; Mana shield provides air for the user to breathe in space and underwater.)
- Immortality Negation (Type 3 [Regeneration {Low-High}] & 7; Mana can make Swampfire unable to regenerate. Mana users can kill Ectonurites, a race that lacks life-force. Mana users can kill other Mana users.)
- Durability Negation (Mana users can absorb Mana from other people without needing to wound them. Mana can bypass durability by causing damage/loosening ionic bonds on a molecular level.)
- Flight (Mana users can fly in air.)
- Supernatural Willpower (Mana depends on the emotions of a user; if their will becomes stronger, the mana becomes more responsive to them—shown when Charmcaster was able to destroy her castle through anger, Gwen was able to break free from Ultimate Kevin’s absorption and pain effects through anger, and Darkstar was able to destroy all monsters around him through anger.)
- Enhanced Senses (Hearing & Awareness; Mana users have the ability to hear sounds that other beings cannot. They have superhuman awareness, like when Charmcaster sensed the presence of Ben, Gwen, and Kevin, or when Gwen could still sense mana without using a Mana Sensor.)
- Immortality (Type 7: Mana can remain alive even after losing its life-force.)
- Aura & Minor Light Manipulation (Explosive, Materialized & Overwhelming; Users can emit a blinding light from their bodies, which can cause an explosion and kill any life-forms. Their aura allows them to manipulate mana and create weapons.)
Add Elemental Intangibility to Non-Physical Interaction due to:
- Mana can interact with Swampfire without phasing through him.

- Mana users can affect Alpha Rune, a source of all mana, which exists as the secret true name of all mana and exists in its own dimension called Legerdomain. It has existed since the beginning of the universe without showing any signs of aging or corrosion. Users can interact with souls, the essential name of everything, which exist in their own dimension called Legerdomain.
Add Perception Manipulation & Hive Mind (Type 2) to Mana Sensor due to:
- Mana users can share their minds with other beings, allowing them to see and track the person who shared their mind.
Add Psychometry to Mana Sensor due to:
- Mana Sensor can analyze the entire area instantly and locate everyone who was present there instantly.
Add Telepathy to Mana Sensor due to:
- Mana users can use telepathy to connect with other beings.
Add Resistance to Power Nullification & Resistance Negation to Mana Sensor due to:
- Mana Sensors are unaffected by Synthroid's Manacle, which can nullify Verdona’s mana powers.
New Resistances:
- Illusion Creation & Perception Manipulation (Mana users can resist illusions, as shown when Charmcaster and Gwen were able to resist an illusion that affected their minds.)
- Cold (Mana users can survive an ice storm.)
- Power Nullification (Mana users are unaffected by negative spells.)
- With Shield:
- Mind Manipulation, Transmutation & Corruption (Both Types) – Unaffected by Dagon’s mind wave, which can corrupt people and take control of minds.
Anodite Physiology:
- Invisibility (Anodites can make themselves invisible.)
- Self-Sustenance & Infinite Stamina (Type 3; Anodites are noted to lack fatigue.)
- Immortality (Types 8 & 9; Although they are a magical race living on the planet Anodyne, Anodites originally come from Legerdomain, as they are Mana beings who originate from Legerdomain, a realm of magic, and are bound to it without needing a physical body.)
Downgrade/Remove:
- Light Manipulation Negation (Magic users can put out any nearby light.)
Minor Light Manipulation
- Enhanced Sealing (Anodites can seal people and nullify their powers, shown when Verdona sealed Antonio and Sunny and nullified Sunny’s powers.)
- Enhanced Power Nullification (Anodites can nullify mana-based attacks, as demonstrated when Sunny nullified Gwen’s attacks. They can also nullify transformations, as shown when Gwen and Verdona reverted Ben and Kevin back to their human forms.)
No feat or statement for being more powerful than before.
Add Absorption Layers (Upgrade):
- 1 Layer: As shown in Alien Force, Mana users were capable of absorbing mana from other Mana users such as Gwen, who could resist Darkstar’s mana absorption.
- 2 Layers: After becoming stronger in Ultimate Alien, Gwen could resist Charmcaster’s mana absorption. After this event, in Season 2, Darkstar was able to absorb Gwen’s mana, bypassing her resistance.
- 3 Layers: Gwen was able to resist Darkstar’s mana absorption again after becoming stronger and more focused. In Omniverse, Mana users such as Michael can absorb mana from other users, such as Gwen.
