Invincible season 3 discussion

Btw Battle Beast issue 1 is out. Pretty ******* sick. New character: the Colossus of Emsiu - another Viltrumite tier. Art is clean asf as always

For sure, at least it broadens the list of high-tiers outside Viltrumite 1, Viltrumite 2, Viltrumite 3, etc. The next character BB will face would have to be >Colossus dude cuz of what the ship AI said at the end.

You're saying the Colossus of Emsiu is stronger than Nolan? I don't think so this seems Nolan tier. I don't think Nolan would've been down with that headbutt either. The guy did no damage to Battle Beast.
If its true then probably Conquest tier to inbetween Conquest and Thragg. Def not on Thragg's level BB didn't fight this guy for days.
Its good to know we're getting Conquest tiers in probably every issue in this comic

On another note, I don't get how they locked bro up in a metal cube, Sea Salt did the same thing to Conquest which we know was quite ineffective.

He's definitely above Nolan. BB cut his head pretty bad headbutting the dude, even though he had a helmet on initally. The guy headlocked and matched BB in certain moments. BB killed him by using his own arm/claw as a sword. You don't have to fight BB for days to be close to Thragg. It's like saying every battle between fictional high-tiers that doesn't last for days means they're not close to each other. They could have a good clean even fight with BB for 10 minutes then die due to whatever circumstance/sudden upper-hand BB suddenly had, and still be Thragg tier or close.

Might be an esoteric nature behind that prison for whoever's contained inside. Dude called it a "cosmic nail", whatever that could mean and there's no way he could be so confident against some dude after he truly one-shot no-diffed the construct which held him for centuries, if it were that simple.

Alr I can take Thragg < Colossus of Emsiu <(=?) Conquest. And I can absolutely imagine they would've fought for days if BB doesn't pull what he pulled

He says that about one of them. Most of them are for sure weaker, but some are definitely comparable. Flaxan Invincible is for sure weaker. Hooded is comparable though inferior. Mohawk proved equal to Mark. Sinister is probably even stronger. I reckon Lensless and the final 8 Invincible variants vary around Mark's level
 
Was it here or on Discord that where someone pointed out that Mohawk Mark killed Sinister in only a few punches. It's not a Lucan case where than big wind up obviously allowed him to take down Nolan. He rammed into him, THEN beat him to death in under 5 punches.

My wording was bad. I meant not all of them are necessarily as strong as main Mark.

Think I saw it on the subreddit. Someone pointed out comics don’t fully convey full moments and their timing, hence why Mohawk likely hit him with dozens more punches were only 3 were drawn for the sake of keeping it short on the page. It’s more consistent with main Mark’s reaction to him doing that and pulling him off (wouldn’t make sense if he did it that quickly even if we consider him dying in those 2-3 punches).

And he’s not accomplishing that without initially setting the charge on the lock of the gate lol. Do you think it had zero relevance and that he could’ve accomplished the feat without having done that in the first place?

Attack Potency =/= Destructive Capability

Regardless, Rex Splode scaling to minor explosions is consistent, in his origin comic we're verbatim told he's largely resistent to them

Are all of these profiles for the Invincible variants really necessary when most of them just have the exact same abilities and stats as Mark?
 
Why are there so many useless Invincibles profiles? They literally have the same abilities as the main Mark, but evil and with far fewer feats.
