I honestly don't think there's too solid a ground for "Sonic's stats change depending on the year", when games like CD and 06 don't seem to depict a power change despite his time travel. Even Gens and Forces make no acknowledgement of the idea.

That actually makes sense smh, like how Base Sonic is able to beat Perfect Chaos in generations, yet he is threathened by a weaker version in the otherworldy comedy.

My stance is that he never actually scales to PC’s power in base, he can only hurt the weakspot which even in its original iteration causes PC to completely disintegrate on contact with SS.

If I can be honest, Is mid/Fine for me.
The Sonic cast wearing JL outfits don't do much for me, when the situations they are in are not that creative.
I kinda like the Sonic Flash and Latern Silver moments, but the others char are just okay.

Is Metal Sonic resistant/immune to hacking attempts? I'm just trying to wonder if we've seen this from Metal or Neo Metal is all.

Eggman has made defenses for the EggNet, so I'd assume so, but I don't think we've seen anything. Zavok did fling Metal away in the Metal Virus arc, but I'm not sure if that's hacking/program control, or just technology manipulation.

All Modern Badniks have Resistance to Hacking via Scrapnik Island Issue 2(?), where Tails notes the older Badniks lack the usual protection from hacking.
Edit: They have built-in failsafes.
Just the statement I'm referencing above for Metal specifically, as far as I'm aware.
It was Technology Manipulation + Magnetism Manipulation and not hacking going by Zavok's wording.
