Loid Forger Vs Yor Forger

Loid and Yor both get 1 day prep time.
Fight takes place in that one castle that Loid rented for Anya.

Lore: The fight is taking place in Anya’s Imagination. They’re fighting over an omelette.

I don’t know much about the verse so I’ll just wait for arguments to come along.
 
Not casting my vote. Just thinking out loud.

Ok, prep time usually involves bringing something to either level the playing field or exploit weaknesses in the opponent. Yor as a serious lack of these things. Plus Yor is given the same amount of time for prep.

This would lead to a long series of "I knew you'd do that" "I knew you'd know I'd do that" "I knew that you'd know that I'd know you'd do that"

But if we play that game, Loid would win. Maybe. Yor kinda lacks a serious weakness and what he could bring there's a good chance Yor's faced or countered before. Like guns.

And I doubt it's permitted the Loid gave Yor alcohol before the fight.

Maybe Loid comes equipped with a jar of bugs.

But if the fight takes place at the castle and with both in sight of each other and no crowd to hide in, Loid's going to struggle to leverage his stealth. Unless I guess he could get a smoke bomb or stun grenade. I mean he's allowed prep. Then take up a sniper position.

But then there's the time Yor was playing body guard duty she kept managing to detect the assassins before they can strike even noticing a sniper. And the only reason she didn't take out the sniper was because she became preoccupied with the dozen other assassins around her. So perhaps Loid grabbing a gun and trying guerilla warfare won't work.

But if we permit remote traps. I don't think we've seen how Yor fares against remote traps. Then again, I don't recall Loid making remote traps. But if Anya can then I don't see why Loid can't.

Yeah, I don't think Loid with guns will do the trick. Yor's already dealt with people with guns. And he'll probably recognize this. So he might booby trap the whole castle then just run like hell.

Yeah there being a crowd or not didn’t really matter since she had both extrasensory perception and enhanced senses so Loid was gonna get sensed in any disguise.

You’re also probably right about the guns part since the fight between her and the super soldier exists

Ok, got an idea.

What do we, us, the people on the outside who know the verse, if we were to construct traps meant to stop Yor, what would they be?

If we can think of traps that could stop Yor then Loid can come up with them and he wins.

If we can't because Your is too fast, agile, or durable, then while Loid might try anyways we do see he is capable of miscalculation. So if even we the audience can't think of an effective booby trap, then Yor wins.

Durability wise shouldn’t be an issue. Any fire arm/trap will still be able to damage her since there was an entire episode dedicated to her being in a bad mood because she was shot in the butt and the bullet wound was still affecting her.
 
For Loid’s Case:

Trap Mastery: Loid demonstrates remarkable proficiency in devising and implementing highly effective traps that can immobilize enemies and help him gain the advantage when going against multiple foes. Notably, he possesses the skill to conceal these traps to such a degree that even the SSS, despite thoroughly surveying the terrain, remains unaware of their existence. His ability to hide traps with such precision adds an element of surprise and advantage to his tactical approach.

Even as a child, he showed a level of ingenuity in the war games he played with his friends, putting together a bucket trap and a rubber band gun to quickly turn around a situation where his side was losing. He would later use the same tactic when fighting in the war.
 
I mean we as the audience should be the ultimate prepperfor knowing the character and verse. So if we can or can't come up with a trap that will take out Yor, the same would apply to Loid.

So let's toss it to the audience. You the reader. You are the one coming up with trap to take down Yor. Whether or not Loid can or can't come up with a good trap for Yor will ultimately be a reflection if we can.

For example, my first idea was a bomb with a fishing line trip wire. But I figured if Yor could sense a sniper or assassins in a crowd, she might notice the fishing line as well.

Or here's one. Bomb that detonates by opening the door. The bomb is armed by the door closing. Loid runs through it and closes the door. Therefore when Yor opens the door it goes off. Should work better than fishing line because there isn't something to detect.

Or perhaps, does flooding a specific area with anesthetic gas count? Invisible. Odorless. Loid will know to hold is breath running through it. But Yor won't.

There wouldn’t be any hard restrictions on what he could do with the traps right? It’s a 1 day prep time for both of them and he has access to W.I.S.E funds and equipment to trap the castle like hell

Unless this SI is being used for Incon then this wouldn’t work because if he’s doing this to sneak attack then it wouldn’t work since she senses and perceives bloodlust / hostility.

Successfully convincing someone to stop fighting with SI is a wincon. Hell, that's how Loid won against Judgement despite the gigantic AP difference.
 
i wanna wait for more supporters before i vote for loid via SI, I think a supporter could break down why the wincon would or would not work
