Iceman
This is the current profile of Iceman, and here's the rework I did. I think it addresses all the issues it had before: his base and transformed key are now merged, he doesn't has plasma resistance, and he has a known base speed

Wolverine
  • Social Influencing? (Motivated the younger mutants to fight outnumbered against Magneto's brotherhood and Jean Grey despite them being insecure after the death of their mentors and having to suddenly become X-Men without proper training)
-There's only six of us, Logan.
-Yeah. We're outnumbered. I'm not gonna lie to you. But we lost Scott. We lost the professor. lf we don't fight now, everything they stood for will die with them. I'm not gonna let that happen. Are you? Then we stand together, X-Men, all of us.
-We're in. Let's go.
X-Men Suits
The suits are body armor better than Kevlar that is proof against a significant array of projectile. Since they were made to protect the original members (Cyclops, Jean Grey and Storm) who all have 8-A durability, I think the suits themselves should also be 8-A

Extras

  • Pre-Retcon Storm should have Subsonic travel speed since she should be comparable to Shadowcat and Iceman
  • I think the first key of Beast should be removed as it's unnecessary
  • Juggernaut's Invulnerability should be removed as there isn't any justification for it

The reworked profile looks very good and far more complete.
What are you talking about with plasma resistance, though? I feel like I'm missing context.

Seems like Social Influencing (Leadership).
Sure.
Didn't he only have one, which is now gone?

I think this reasoning is flawed. We shouldn't scale people's clothes to them without further context, since fiction very often has clothing survive no matter what, even if it's just a normal outfit.

Link?

Probably, yeah.

Agreed.

Previously in another thread, the rework had some issues, one was Iceman having plasma resistance due to resisting Pyro's fire. If I recall correctly, it was rejected because he only had to resist its heat, not the plasma itself
Didn't he only have one, which is now gone?
Yes, he only has one bullet which is part of his standard equipment, and he might or might not use it in a vs battle, so I assumed it could be specified. In-verse, X-23 used it to kill X-24 after he mortally wounding Logan who died a few moments later

As the scan states, their suits aren't just clothing, they're body armor designed to protect them, so I think it wouldn't make much sense for the suits to be weaker than their physical durability
Basically because she trains them in the Danger Room and everyone (who all have Subsonic travel speed) are seen running at a similar pace

Agree with FinePoint on all... points...

And the Storm speed thing looks fine, if those guys have Subsonic travel speed there's at least a reasonable case for her to scale.

I see. Yeah, that makes sense.

Standard Equipment requires that they have it on them in a majority of their appearances.
I suppose I could see an argument for Optional Equipment, since he technically owned it for the whole movie.

It wouldn't make sense for it to be equal to their durability either, what would even be the point then?
More importantly: not everyone has the same durability, and so it's obviously for people who may not be particularly durable on their own.
Or even more practically, for anyone who might be vulnerable to being pierced by bullets.

I guess that's fine.

It's for his Old Man Logan key, which is his old self from the Logan movie who had the bullet with him all the time, that's why it's standard equipment for that specific key

Fair, though the original X-Men (Beast, Cyclops, Jean Grey, and Storm), for whom the suits were firstly created, all have 8-A durability

Well, I suppose if he genuinely has it on him at all times in that key then it makes sense as Standard Equipment.

I did watch the movie, but I only remember him using it at the end and briefly mentioning it earlier. I'll take your word for it.

I think my points still stand, especially if they had any foresight.

True, I'm dumb. Well, are two staff agreements enough to apply what was accepted once the 48 hours have passed?
Since this is a very popular verse, we probably need three.
In cases where the series verse has a significant following or a large amount of material has been published based on its content, it may be necessary to seek approval from a minimum of three staff members to ensure that all relevant parties are aware of and agree with the proposed revisions

Also, we probably need to clarify @Mr. Bambu's stance on the Standard Equipment, since he just said he agreed with me but then I changed my mind.

I would expect a very popular verse to have more than just one active supporter making threads for the past three years
Well, if that's the case then it's probably fine.

I just know that this series is very mainstream.

As in, the bullet?

I didn't even consider your statement on the matter before a vote, it seemed like it was still being discussed. I consider it fine to be documented as standard equipment.

The Adamantium bullet is already part of Logan's standard equipment, what I'm proposing is that he also have a "higher with Adamantium bullet" in his AP section

Right, but FinePoint was contending whether it was actually standard equipment, or am I misunderstanding what was going on above?

Regardless: yeah, I'm fine with "higher" AP.

I already applied the accepted changes so the thread can be closed now, thanks for the input
