I wonder if Gunko's regeneration is a devil fruit ability or a different ability related to imu (since Holy Knights can teleport similar to the Gorosei)

Probably the same power-set that the Five Elders have. I'm really curious to see the eventual weakness of it.
 
Yes, if Vegapunk or somebody else cannot figure out a way to permanently hurt the Elder Stars and God Knights, it will be impossible to win, given that they seem to range in power between admiral and Yonkou level. 🙏

If all the HK have yokai powers, I wonder how powerful Shamrock will be. If he has haki comparable to Shanks along with a DF sword and regen and maybe a yokai transformation, it'll be hard to not say he's top 3 alive right now.
 
I think that the elders have yokai transformations and the knights have devil fruits, and both have regeneration. 🙏

Fair take, but iirc Shamrock is a noble and commander maybe his DF is in his sword because he has a yokai transformation?

I admit none of this is likely, but it's interesting to think about because I would imagine Garling now that he's an elder is exactly this OP.
 
I suspect that Garling is currently the most dangerous character in the verse with the exception of Imu. 🙏
 
Also, after the discussion in our main One Piece discussion thread, I turned this thread into a single ongoing chapter spoilers discussion, since it seems much more convenient for us. 🙏
 
Same, I would like to see Luffy and Shanks team up to beat him but then there's BB and Shanks' fated battle and idk which one would potentially come first but if it's the latter the chances of the former isn't likely :cry:

Blackbeard might wait for Luffy's armada and the World Government to fight each other until one side is destroyed, and then attack the victor.

That is the most likely, but that might not save Shanks in time for a potential Luffy + Shanks team up against Garling.

Depend if Luffy and Blackbeard fight for the One Piece before the final clash with the WG, thematically speaking make more sense for the Straw Hats to find and reveal the truth of the world to unite all remaning forces against Imu.

Unless Blackbeard (and his crew) don't die after the fight for the One Piece as he pull another Marineford and kill Imu to take his power (assuming that he can do it of he end up killing Loki and take his DF too).

Then maybe we get a scenario similar to God Valley where Luffy and Koby must unite to defeat Teach, with maybe help from Sabo too, to determinate the future of the world.
 
Hopefully Saul losing to Sommers is leading to Robin fighting him so she can show him how strong she's gotten over the years they've been apart. I'm beyond tired of her and Chopper just sitting on his shoulder while he get all of the action. Plus, the symbolism of Robin's and Sommers' devil fruits is there: Flowers vs. Thorns.

Maybe the GK were more public when Brook was alive, he did refer to Roger as an up and coming rookie in TB iirc

He was leader of a battle convoy in a "certain kingdom" before becoming a pirate.

I'm curious if that means that Brook was a Mary Geoise during a Reverie where he learn about the holy knight, or if the kingdom did something that the WG didn't like and they send holy knight to destroy It.

I wonder where Shanks is right now, Elbaf, which is an island in his territory, is being attacked by one of strongest government team, involving his twin brother. Also, Luffy who is a yonkou is now also there and Loki, a rival of Shanks, has been released.

I find it strange how Shanks didn't bother to leave any officers on Elbaf besides Brogy and Dorry (who are new allies by the way). All of this is very curious, if in Elbaf we have a moment showing what the big shots of the world are doing, I hope Oda shows Shanks and justify his total disappearance in Elbaf.

Personally I wish we had that moment, and knowing how Oda does things off-screen, I can imagine a scenario where Shanks and Blackbeard's crew face off in Hachinosu. It would be interesting if Shamrock returned to Elbaf to fight Luffy and we had these two plots in parallel — While the rookie Emperor of Light faces and defeats the evil brother of the Figarland family, the rookie Emperor of Darkness faces and defeats the good brother.

I know this comment has nothing to do with the chapter itself, but it was an idea that came to my mind a while ago and I think it's very likely to happen.

I think that Shanks may have left to find the One Piece, as he mentioned earlier. 🙏
 
Shanks being able to scare it away from sheer aura shows the amount of superiority he had over it, it’s common sense he didn’t “need to” sacrifice his arm in that scene 🦧
