This seems to be referencing an explicit moment or idea behind the scenes. I was checking his blogs and didn't see it, so I'm curious as to where this happened/if you can link it so I can read it.
 
Also, been trying to dabble into sonic scaling more, been known of immeasurable or solaris being cracked, is there a blog anywhere that helps explain the cosmology or stuff that not much people know about? (haxs, dreams, or what not) Thank you!
 
Just wondering, is there like a collected source of info on why the storybook worlds are universes? Besides the infinite Night Palace corridor, a lot of the stuff seems closer to MSS in visuals. Corridor gets pushback because it’s a strategy guide thing.

I guess there is also the astral plane itself being a small part of the realm, but I was kinda hoping for smthn else to counter pocket dimension args

The Egg Carrier blocks a shot from the Ragna Rock, which is powered by the Father Box. I think the Father Box is basically identical to the Mother Box in function, but I could be wrong of course.

Eggman doing his best stance up and it’s just him basically totally leaning out of his craft is the best thing ever I’m not gonna lie. He thinks he looks cool as **** in that pose and instead it makes him look silly as ****, inadvertently making him look cool as **** in that pose.

I say potentially because I'm personally under the belief that Sonic's universe wasn't actually destroyed and that either Darkseid truly did bend it back to his will or the nature of the Chaos Emeralds' energy being so close to destroying the universe is either masking/changing the Dimensional Coordinates of Sonic's universe. Basically violating laws of the universe in a sense.

Last I checked, Metal Sonic didn't make it out but we know he's showing up later
 
That's definitely a fair. The implication of a single Emerald negatively impacting capital letter Time is interesting, too.

It helps support the nature of Chaos Emeralds having like, complete dominion over time. Such as statements of them having control over space-time.

Also keeps consistent their higher-end feats like that of a single Chaos Emerald having the ability to stop time in a place with NO time, ala Shadow Gens (seriously, being able to Time Stop in an atemporal realm is busted)

My tip 3 guesses in order are:

  1. The universe was so warped and so close to destruction that it is essentially undetectable at its current state.
  2. It was moved elsewhere or is being masked, be it on purpose or not, either by Darkseid or some other force we don't know yet.
  3. It really WAS destroyed, and some shenanigans need to ensue to revert it.
I think 3 is least likely because that gives us like 2 issues for such a task, as Metal appears in #4, which would feel too hamfisted and rushed. Also killing off the League seems too bold for what Flynn would do.

The top panel feels like a response to those "One attosecond" memes.
 
I just find it massively hilarious that—If played straight—The implication is that 1 Chaos Emerald scales to destroying the entire cosmology of Sonic as we know it (Because the Dimensional Coordinates were specifically traveling to their multiverse in general, not just their main Sonic reality). No more Sonic lowballing, I guess. Flynn said “I hate Sonic powerscaling,” and then tripped, fell, and bolstered the power of the Emeralds entirely.

How…familiar…Looking towards Sonic Frontiers and Shadow Generations.

I mean, the thing as combined with the dimensional engine from Darkseid, and it also have prep time.

Can't entirely say the Chaos Emerald did all the work. Is still crazy trought that It was one of the components.
