Alt Battle Wiki

I believe BigSmoke repeatedly tried to get Cool Cat added, and when people reported him for repeatedly requesting that, he said "why is that against the rules?" Which was correct! Just bringing up a topic isn't against the rules, and we try to have our rules be general, rather than person-specific. So to stop that, we set up a general discussion rule saying "you cannot argue for this verse to be added", rather than one saying "BigSmoke cannot argue for this verse to be added".

I thought it was justified based on the repetitive nature of the arguments, and its combat irrelevance alone (which BigSmoke repeatedly tried wanking into notability).

So ye, I've been pretty consistent that I think the "copyright" angle was nonsense. But it still got added despite my protest.

Although I do think it's weird that you frame this as being about the "staff not liking BigSmoke". The majority of discussion rules are about things brought up repeatedly by different people. It's something that occurs for repeated tiring arguments like that in general.
Actually, I wanted to play around with Smoke on occasion (Arguing on how breaking bad isn't 9-C), and he apparently acts as if he doesn't understand the implications of his arguments and the realism treatment. He's also acting as if he should be the one that needs convincing. So I see another reason why he has the reputation he has.

Don't get me wrong, I admire him like any other user. I do like humor here and there considering we have a literal toddler on site.

I put the mythology verse to alt battle wikis because it was deleted from vsbw

Out of curiousity, has this come to any conclusion?
Sorry to bother anyone but I was hoping to ask a few questions that I think may need more people across the affiliated wikis to answer since it's regarding both scaling and meeting of criteria for inclusion on any of the different sites as well as which site the works I am going to discuss belong to the most:
https://elcomics.net/

https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=EL+Comics+scary+comics+twist+endings

Essentially I need help on scaling and making pages for these and also need to ask which site these works should go to. I appreciate any and all help with this matter, and I hope I'm not inconveniencing anyone.

nothing, you can join here:
You can't invite people to Discord servers that way. You have to send them an invite link, not a link to the channel as it appears in your browser.

WAKE UP NEW AVA EPISODE AND SCANS TO DO IN THE NEAR FUTURE

I wonder if, if Mitsi can be revived, whether Gold and Pink and other deceased characters in the AVA verse can also be restored/revived/resurrected, and what that could mean for the future of the verse.
I really hope the deceased characters can actually be restored/revived/resurrected.

I am curious would forbidden aspects of verses that do get to stay be allowed on the wiki like inaccurate official translations or things that either clearly don't exist in canon or aren't part of our accepted canon. For example stuff locked behind cheat codes like debug mode sonic or just game modes like creative mode Minecraft. An inaccurate translation can be argued to be its own story and as long as it isn't cross scaled to other versions of the story I see little reason to see why something like that should be forbidden.

We are not taking inaccurate translations, same for cheat codes.

If I may be so bold why. If I am not mistaken the rule that bans characters using cheat codes is this one:
  • The VS Battles Wiki is, first and foremost, a fictional character indexing site. All featured characters in our profiles should originate from actual stories, from works that are reasonably notable or popular outside of versus debating communities. A story includes a plot, a fictional setting, and has a defined canon. At the very least, the setting should be entirely fictional in nature, with no true bearing over the real world.
Their existence outside the canon is what bans them that and probably game mechanics. Why is it forbidden to give king knight his spin dash cheat. I know the other wiki's wouldn't allow some like that, but what would be the problem with allowing something like that.
