She was in her usual secretary clothes, adjusting some parts.
"Yes, I'm fine thanks to you." She smiled at him. "I was thinking of going out for breakfast so I could check if the town is more or less intact."

Eredna and Amanda stepped out into the morning light; the fresh air carried the distant sounds of the village's bustle. The cobblestone streets gleamed lightly with the remnants of dawn dew, and the scent of freshly baked bread and sizzling meats wafted through the air, guiding their way past merchants setting up their stalls and laughing children running past. The village came alive, with a steady, warm heartbeat.
Amanda's gaze wandered, observing the cheerful voices of the merchants announcing their morning offerings. She lightly squeezed Eredna's hand, leaning toward her with a gentle smile.
"The village always feels different in the morning," she reflected, watching a baker arrange the loaves of bread on a display... she knew they depended on them to save them from this threat.

Says as he stared into his pocket watch to look at the time right now, it was 8:30 in the morning amd had to be done with most if their work until 12 in the noon

Amanda's cheeks flushed a soft pink, but she lifted her chin slightly, trying to maintain composure despite the warmth blooming across her face.
"A-Ahem… That’s very kind of you to say, Eredna." She gently squeezed his hand back, her voice a bit softer now. "But flattery won't get one out of work duty, you know." She gave a small, composed smile, though her eyes betrayed a flicker of bashful joy. "Still… thank you. That means more to me than you realize."

Amanda looked at him, momentarily speechless, her usual composure wavering under the weight of his sincerity.
Amanda's gaze fell on his hands as he kissed hers, and for a fleeting moment, her lips parted in surprise, but then she smiled, tender and proud, though her voice trembled slightly.
"I only did what I believed was right... and I would do it all again, without hesitation. You may be a Lord, but you are also a man with burdens no one should bear alone." She straightened her posture, regaining a touch of her formality, though her voice remained warm.
"It is an honor to be by your side, Eredna. Not as your secretary... but as someone who truly believes in you and something more."
She clasped her hands gently in her lap as the food arrived, looking at him with understated affection before taking her utensils to eat as well; elegant, but with a slight smile that remained only for him.

Amanda paused mid-bite, his words catching her off guard in the most tender way. Her eyes widened just slightly, and the faintest shimmer of emotion danced there before she looked down with a small, flustered smile tugging at her lips.
"...You really do have a way of making my heart skip, Eredna..." She set her fork down gently and folded her hands, gathering herself before meeting his eyes again, soft, steady, and full of emotion.
"I don't need a title right now. Not fiancée, not wife. Just being your woman... that's already more than I ever thought I’d be lucky enough to have."
She reached across the table, brushing her fingers against his briefly.
"I'll wait however long it takes. And if you're promising to make me the happiest lady alive... well, I suppose I’ll have to make sure you become the proudest Lord to ever walk these lands." She added with a shy, teasing smile, her cheeks still pink but glowing.
