Jack tries vaguely gesturing at where he saw it. "You two get on Aonbharr." Jack says quietly.

"Yeah, yeah... sigh....so tired....."

Says the last words murmured, then goes to the place from memory
The city sprawled before them, a vast expanse of towering stone buildings and winding cobblestone streets. The medieval architecture bore a fantastical edge structures of smooth, enchanted marble, spires adorned with glowing sigils, and great iron lanterns filled with ever-burning flame. The air carried the scent of baked bread, sizzling meats, and the distant hint of alchemical brews bubbling in unseen cauldrons.

Tiamat, now in her humanoid form, walked with a regal presence, her draconic natue still lingering in the way her blue eyes scanned the city with casual dominance.

The streets were alive with activity, merchants calling out their wares from wooden stalls, children darting between crowds, and armored city guards standing at their posts, their hands resting on well-worn hilts. A bard plucked at a lute near a fountain, his song weaving a melody that merged seamlessly with the ambient chatter of the.

The trio moved onward, their presence subtly parting the flow of people as they made their way through the city.
The restaurant awaited, and with it, perhaps, amoment of respite before the next inevitable challenge arose, the place was half full, and someone ask what they will eat, this also is likely the right moment to ask Tiamat any question

Deel orders some cold drink and fried chicken to himself, which until he receives them, he asks Tiamat

"So, worthy enough for you? Or you expecting more then this Queen?"

"Get them in the air I don't think it could catch you there before you could get out. Hopefully I am less appealing even if I smell good for a ten year corpse." Jack says.

"We hope so-" Aonbharr was right now out of the scene, leaving Jack out to deal with the Mistwraith, which likely is mad after part of his dinner goes rogue

Yushina was looking around, but decided to follow Deel behind Tiamat.
"What are you going to order?" the waiter asked.

Jack slowly starts walking back towards the base they found earlier with what he thinks is a funny idea keeping an eye out for the beast.

"What dish here has the most calories?" she asked politely.
"That'd be our triple-stacked cheeseburger with extra bacon and a side of loaded fries. Comes with a free food coma." He joke a bit

Jack slowly starts walking back towards the base they found earlier with what he thinks is a funny idea keeping an eye out for the beast.
Jack's journey to the base wasn't long, the creature seems to be following him, but very hesitant whether to attack or not right now, Jack is in front the door now.

"You earned your place, blazing Dragon, kinda surprise you get this far" She said after order a complete lasagna all to herself
"Ok then, first of all, stop calling me such, as you are pretty much cursing me with that, you would think you know that much, given the similarities with the other word humans use"

Jack attempts to open the door with a spell.
The Door opened however the alarm start to sound, many people who were relax now are moving to do their job

"Ok then, first of all, stop calling me such, as you are pretty much cursing me with that, you would think you know that much, given the similarities with the other word humans use"
"Nope, you said it thus you accept your nickname, however i will no Said it more often then" She said

"What's your healthiest dish, then?" she asked, smiling at his joke.
The waiter chuckled, appreciating Yushina’s playful response. Leaning in slightly, he gestured toward the menu with a grin.

"That’d be our grilled salmon with quinoa and steamed veggies. No food coma included... unless you count the boredom from eating too healthy."

"I'll be taking that cheeseburger thingy you said earlier and this. Normal water for drinks. Please." Yushina replied politely.

The waiter smirked, nodding as he jotted down her order.

"Bold choice. A little indulgence never hurt anyone," he aswner. "One triple-stacked cheeseburger with extra bacon, a side of loaded fries, grilled salmon with quinoa and steamed veggies and one... very normal water. Got it. I’ll be right back."

With that, he turned and walked off, leaving Yushina to anticipate her meal.

"You better accept it too when i catch you alone in a room then...."

Retorted back at her, he was joking on that, he didnt say it with seriousness
"Heh, sure you will" She said, slightly rolling her eyes before continue eating her lagsana in calm

(What about the quinoa and vegetables? 😭 She said she'd have the cheeseburger and the quinoa dish)

"I could if i felt like it..."

He says then eats his fried chicken received moments later, along his drink he took a couple gulps from, he was pretty thirsty
Tiamat smirked between bites of her lasagna, the rich, molten cheese stretching slightly as she lifted her fork. She gave Deel a sidelong glance, her blue eyes glinting with amusement.

"You could, huh?" she mused, pausing for a moment to take a sip of her drink. "Well, if you're going to make bold claims, you'd better be ready to back them up, Blazing Dragon."

She chuckled, clearly enjoying teasing him. "Not that I'd mind seeing you try. Might actually be entertaining."

With that, she returned to her meal, unfazed, her demeanor relaxed but sharp enough to let Deel know she wasn’t one to back down from a verbal spar.

Tiamat paused mid-bite, her blue eyes flicking toward Deel with a slow, deliberate movement. For a moment, there was silence... a tense beat where the weight of the words settled between them.

Then, a low chuckle rumbled from her throat, growing into something between amusement and challenge. She leaned back slightly, setting her fork down with measured grace, as if she were contemplating something far greater than just a response.

A smirk curled at the edge of her lips. "Oh? And what makes you so confident in that, Deel?" she asked, her voice smooth, almost teasing, yet carrying a dangerous undertone.

She took another slow bite of her lasagna, chewing thoughtfully before continuing.

"You're assuming a lot," she mused. "But let’s humor this thought for a moment. If that were true, what exactly are you offering? Enlightenment?" Her smirk deepened, eyes gleaming with sharp amusement. "Or do you just enjoy poking at dragons and seeing if they bite?"

She didn’t break eye contact as she took a sip of her drink, waiting to see if Deel would double down, or if he was just stirring the embers for fun.

"Is Konoe your biological daughter?....you have other relatives born from you?....is the queen of dragons the kind to fool around just for her satisfactions?.....if the answer is no, then thats where my confidence is from..."

Tiamat's mocking smile faded slightly, narrowing her gaze at Deel as she placed her drink with a soft clink against the table. The air between them shifted, a subtle but palpable charge taking over the conversation.

She exhaled slowly, not in frustration, but in recognition. "Hmph... you're not mistaken." Her voice was lower, less playful, more thoughtful. She picked up her fork again, idly turning it between her fingers as she considered her next words.

"Konoe isn't my blood, no. I chose her. And as for family... the one I had is gone." There was no anger in her tone, no apparent sadness, only a matter-of-fact acceptance.

At his last question, she chuckled, but without the sharp amusement of before. "Playing for my own satisfaction? No. That kind of indulgence never mattered to me. Not when there were more important things to focus on." Her blue eyes returned to Deel, scrutinizing him as if assessing whether he understood the weight of her words.

Then a small, satisfied smile returned, barely a hint of her usual confidence. "Congratulations, Deel. Your logic holds up. But confidence isn't just about being right... it's about what you do with it." She took another bite of her lasagna, relaxing her posture slightly.

"Now tell me," she added, a trace of her former amusement returning to her voice. "Was this a roundabout way of trying to get me in trouble, or are you just curious?"

"So you are pure as me and didnt bother with these sort of things, interesting to know i got it right, as for your question, was a little curious"

Tiamat nodded, after a few minutes she finished her meal, and a curiosity appeared in her mind.
"And tell me, you two, why exactly do you want to be stronger... beyond someone telling you?"

"If i cant protect and save others for the right thing, i need to improve myself till i can do that better"

Jack turns invisible as he tries to use his powers to motivate the mistwrath to come out. Aonbharr meanwhile tries to gently encourage the others to get off him.

"I See a noble end"
Jack turns invisible as he tries to use his powers to motivate the mistwrath to come out. Aonbharr meanwhile tries to gently encourage the others to get off him.
Jack's powers didn't work at full strength, rather than fully influencing the Mistwrath, his efforts only agitated it further. The creature, already frustrated from its previous escape, hesitated for a moment before creeping closer. However, its irritation soon boiled over into aggression, and a battle erupted.

The alarm had already drawn attention, but when the beast of darkness crossed a certain threshold, Rassilon’s soldiers finally took notice. Shouts filled the air as weapons were drawn, their focus shifting from the sudden security breach to the far greater threat that loomed before them.

Noah and Rex dismounted from the horse when they got away (I guess this is what you mean)

Jack prepares to make Aonbharr invisible as he teleports over to the check point before using their telepathic connection to reach each other and teleport away to the city.

A heartbeat later, they reappeared just outside the city's edge, far from the chaos they had left behind.

Dust settled around their arrival point, and the distant echoes of alarms faded into the background. The Mistwrath would have to deal with Rassilon's forces... for now

Yushina waited.

Soon the food come to her (this question is for her too)
Tiamat nodded, after a few minutes she finished her meal, and a curiosity appeared in her mind.

"And tell me, you two, why exactly do you want to be stronger... beyond someone telling you?"
"Well..." she paused, taking a big bite of the burger. "It's pretty simple actually..." she said, chewing on some fries as well before she downed them with a gulp.

"People here use magic and power as means to identify someone. Y'know, how they categorize if they're weak and they're strong. Weak people are looked down on. Strong people are feared. There's people like Pythia and Rassilon who are super duper strong! But I'm sure there's gotta someone out there that's stronger than them too (implying the Destroyer)."

She paused again, eating vegetables this time.

"So, I thought... If I could get super super duper strong than that guy (Destroyer) and say hi to the Gods. Maybe, juuussttt maybe... they'll see how a Gallen like me can beat their magic with my muscles, and maybe some gadgets- but that's besides the point! Hahahaha!"

Tiamat listened intently, her expression unreadable at first. As Yushina spoke, casually munching on her meal as if she weren’t talking about surpassing beings like Pythia and Rassilon, a small smirk began to form on the dragon queen’s lips. By the time Yushina finished, Tiamat let out a short, amused huff, leaning back in her chair with crossed arms.

“Heh… You’re certainly ambitious, I’ll give you that.” She tapped her fingers against her forearm, her blue eyes studying Yushina with a newfound interest. “I’ve seen plenty of warriors who wanted power for survival, revenge, or conquest. But you?” A low chuckle escaped her lips. “You just want to flex on the Gods themselves?”

She tilted her head slightly, the smirk deepening. “You do realize how insane that sounds, right? But then again…” She shrugged, a flicker of something almost nostalgic crossing her gaze. “Maybe that’s exactly the kind of madness it takes to stand in their realm.”

Tiamat then leaned forward, resting her elbows on the table. “But tell me, Yushina… when you get there, when you surpass even the strongest, then what?” Her gaze sharpened slightly. “If your whole drive is about proving yourself through strength, what happens when there’s no one left to prove it to?”

"That's simple too.." she replied, just gnawing on the burger half-eaten. "Once I did that, Imma...." she paused, taking a big bite of the burger before shoving some vegetables to make it healthy. She drank some water and gulped again.

"Imma take a rest! I'll eat good food, train some more, go to sleep, and play around with my friends!" even with her mouth full, she smiled whilst saying it.

"Well that is a positive and realistic plan to do that many fighter would do" Tiamat comment

Meanwhile, Lord Eredna opened his eyes and sees Amanda rested on him from last night, he slowly got up and let her rest some more before dressing back as he always is and went to his office

"It was fun and relaxing, but work is work now, let us see now..."

He pulls some paper from the drawers and gets something to write with and begins shortly after

Thoughts of the horror of the past came to mind... will the civilians be safe? Who knows what the monster did yesterday when they leave
