Crown of Dreams | Role play

Deel would absorb the heat of the environment and even Yushina body herself, leaving her with low temperatures that will slow her down and affect her as she was busy to deal with Tiamat, he already absorbed the flames from the radius he burned into him, so there was barely any heat remaining out to regulate for her

Tiamat’s movements were precise, cold and calculating as she saw Yushina's next move on slow motion. With Deel’s influence causing the environment to chill and Yushina's speed reduced, the dragoness could see her target’s edge dulling with every moment.

In an instant, Tiamat shifted her weight, using her mastery of the environment. The air froze even further, and the ground beneath her feet cracked as jagged frost spread outward, creating a slippery and uneven terrain. Yushina’s speed was now considerably hindered by the sudden drop in temperature, and her once-rapid movements became sluggish. The elements that Tiamat controlled bent to her will, earth to block, wind to shatter, and ice to slow her prey.

With Yushina’s momentum shattered, Tiamat snapped her wings wide, creating a barrier of ice and wind around her, a sudden vortex that pushed back against Yushina’s momentum. The ice, now covering every inch of the battlefield, amplified the already dangerous environment.

But Tiamat was not finished. She knew Yushina would press on, even with the ice diminishing her power. As the cold took its toll, Tiamat’s own powers grew stronger. The frost she unleashed intensified, freezing the very air around them, locking Yushina in a chilling cage of her own making. The ice didn’t just stop at the ground; it crawled up Yushina's limbs, squeezing the very life from her.

In the frozen battlefield, where time seemed to stretch and slow under the pressure of Deel's heat Absorption to cold amplification and Tiamat's elemental control, the dragoness seized the opportunity to counter with a vicious strike. Her claws, sharp as the cold air itself, lanced forward with precision, seeking the fragile points in Yushina’s weakened armor, now brittle from the freezing temperatures.

The ice storm was now all around them, but Tiamat could still feel the kinetic energy in the air, bubbling beneath her control. With the cold stealing much of Yushina's momentum and heat, the dragoness launched a final, devastating attack, striking with the might of the storm.

Her claws bit into the air, but this time, her strike wasn’t just physical. It was the culmination of her battle with the environment: fire, ice, and earth, all mixed into a torrent of destructive force, as she bent the nature itself.

As the shards of ice and the chilling gusts of wind cut through the air, Tiamat's power surged, manipulating the space around herself to collapse inward, trapping Yushina within her frozen cage after Tiamat leave. The last dregs of heat drained from her opponent’s body, and with it, her strength.

Her equipment was not made for this temperature shift (No resistence to extreme temperature), cracks start to pushed

Her equipment was not made for this temperature shift (No resistence to extreme temperature), cracks start to pushed
There Yushina was at the crater the dragoness made, her breathe getting shorter and shorter as she desperately tries to get up. It's reasonable why she would be pushed to this extent, but she now knows what the extent of their powers will be.

[Learning Progress: COMPLETE]

As the barrier around her would form, the cracks on the ice and the lower temperature would slowly but surely adapt to the storm Tiamat created. It was a gamble that she took, but now the risk of the equipment breaking is now gone.

"Confirm..."

Slowly, as she stood up, a presence of pure determination. Tiamat and Deel did push her into a corner, but without her doing the same for them. That blitzing speed (Godspeed) and the amount she can absorb, which indeed has a limit, is something she now understands. The same thing has already been said by Deel, although by now... the two should be exhausted.

"Gear Change."

Taking the Howitzer Curve Style, combined with the overflow of output released from her equipment's perceived limiters...

Instantly, before Tiamat could react and before Deel would perceive it, Yushina would be right in front of the Dragon Lady.

Having struck her by the belly....

...and all of them occured at the exact same time as she appeared, sending the dragon right above the skies. All she would see from her perspective is being a powerful, painful, and massive shock sending her rocketing upwards. This series of attack leveled the entirety of the storm she created, parting it.

But, before Tiamat could ever recover or realize the attack occured...

"Gear Change: Clockwork!"

Right this instant, she combined every technique in her arsenal alongside the overloading of her equipment. Adding up the 600% Output, this next attack would be at her very peak...

<905% Output...!>

<Blinding Flash>!!!!

And strike at Tiamat's center.

Tiamat felt the shockwaves reverberate through her body, her vision flashing white from the sheer force of Yushina’s final, devastating strike. The impact shattered the sky itself, tearing apart the remnants of the storm she had crafted.

She staggered, her breath ragged, her body screaming in protest. The pain was unlike anything she had felt in this day, bones fractured, scales cracked, organs battered by the force of the attack. If Yushina had hit just a fraction harder, she might have torn straight through her.

Tiamat’s hands trembled as they pressed against the burning impact point, her pride warring against exhaustion. She had fought with everything she had, bent the elements, shaped the battlefield, frozen the very air itself, and yet, this warrior still stood.

Still pushed past limits that should have been unreachable.

Still fought as if breaking herself meant nothing.

And Tiamat was tired.

This battle, this relentless war of strength, speed, and endurance, it was enough for a training battle, they not gonna kill each other, otherwise she would just ude her transmutation magic and THAT other ability

She exhaled, the faintest smirk tugging at the corner of her lips. Even a dragon knew when it was time to stop a training.

"...You win, against me." Her voice, rough yet laced with a strange admiration, cut through the battlefield’s silence.

And with that, Tiamat’s her wings folding as she collapsed onto one knee, yet unbroken

[Notification: System Overload is on pause.]

She flew down to meet Tiamat at her defeat, surprised that she managed to take her down. Yushina looked at her own equipment, still having those cracks.

"It's not that bad for a victory. You made my gear all messed up. I know famous people like you are super rich, so... maybe you can treat me to some cool new stuff I could work my gear on." she said, approaching the dragon closer.

"Nice fight. You did well, Dragon Lady."

Before she would glance at where Deel is.

"I guess he's the only one left? I still gotta beat him..." she muttered.

Tiamat let out a slow breath, steadying herself despite the pain radiating through her body. Her blue eyes met Yushina’s with an unwavering gaze.

“It was your idea to make this a training match and force us to fight,” she said, her voice still carrying the weight of the battle. “We pushed you to your limits, just as you wanted. So, it’s not like I owe you anything other than respect.”

She straightened slightly, ignoring the sharp ache in her ribs. “Besides, I’ve taught my daughter not to count on me when it comes to money. If she wants something, she earns it herself.”

A faint smirk played at her lips as she gestured toward Deel. “As for the fight… that depends on him.”

"Touche. Same for you, I guess. But I have a hunch that you have a move specifically made to beat me. I respect you for not using those..." Yushina nodded. "Oh, and... I uhh don't really have any healing equipment, so... once this is over, I'll be carrying you two to a nearby hospital to recover."
A faint smirk played at her lips as she gestured toward Deel. “As for the fight… that depends on him.”
She nodded again. "Mhm"

"Dont worry, I can recover for my own, just need to keep in my dragon form or will be more painful in the human form" she said

Deel had ran out of his Fiery Fury mode, it was too much heat after using it twice and absorbing so much heat around, he blows steam out of his nose kneeling transforming into his normal form now

"Haaa.....haaaa......haaaaa.....im still into this.....i heard no bell ringing...."

Deel was a little ticked off about this from her, an annoying brat with gadgets to help her out fight the battles for Yushina

"You blasted little..."

Murmurs under his breath gasping for air

She turned around to face Deel, as if she forgot to say something.

"Hey, I know this is sudden for the both of you to just fight one random person. I also know that it's kinda my fault we did all of this for my own benefit, so... I wanna help out as much as I could. I insist and I wanna contribute to your cause. Whatever it may be."

"I am Yushina Nigiri. And I am a Gallen as far as I remember. I don't really know who I am, but I got these tools and I was told to run away...." she said, her breathing getting a little heavy from the slow release of her techniques taking a toll on her body.

"After that, I'm told to find someone and fight them. I don't who will it be, but I have this weird feeling about it. So I wanna get strong to defeat it no matter what. I got that thought I little too into my head and rushed myself to find people I can fight. However, I couldn't just shake the feeling of not being able to help people along my journey." she looked down.

"So I'm gonna retract my statement earlier and apologize for picking to spar with you two. I wanna repay you both by helping you in any way. I'll accompany you to that dragon virus site as well."

"Do whatever you want then, sigh........i need to cool myself a while....haaaa....."

Says as he was still physically exhausted

"Well well, since we finished this, guess we can return to the city, eat elements taste different than regular food" Tiamat comment

"I think it can probably take care of itself better than we can take care of it." Jack says.
Glyph Jr. watched while Jack and the others talked. The abstract feline's mind was a little distracted, but it reminded him of his owners. He decided to make a small purr as Noah continued to run her hand over the creature made of the Fabric of Music. "Well, while that's true, at least be out of here and figure out what to do now" Rex commented.

"Me and Aonbharr can likely get us out any immediate danger we encounter quickly." Jack says.

Aonbharr, Jack, Noah, and Rex moved forward with apparent ease, yet an unsettling sensation crawled beneath their skin. It was an instinctive feeling —an ancient, primal alertness, most of people known it as something like a Sixth sense— that told them they were being watched. Not by a mere observer, but by something unseen, something patient. A predator, studying its prey from the shadows.

"Good."

Tiamat slowly breath, allowing herself a brief moment of relief as her draconic form receded. The shift was seamless, but the soreness from the brutal battle lingered in her limbs. Stretching slightly, she rolled her shoulders and steadied her breath before murmuring the incantation for a teleportation spell. A soft glow surrounded them, and in the blink of an eye, the three warriors found themselves standing amidst the familiar sights and sounds of the city.

The distant hum of activity filled the air, contrasting with the remnants of battle still fresh in their minds. Tiamat glanced between Yushina and Deel, then crossed her arms with a thoughtful expression.

"Hmm… do either of you know a good restaurant around here?" she asked, her tone casual but with a hint of expectation. After a fight like that, a proper meal wasn’t just a luxury.... it was necessary.

"There was a place i ate with the others before coming to your daughter"

Pointed Deel as he tried remembering where exactly was the place at

Jack sighs as he sets up turnip vision and sweeps the turnip around him. (Which I feel I should stress was based on the Dullahan's ability to spot souls to take across the countryside in the dead of night)

Tiamat raised an eyebrow but nodded, stretching her arms. “Lead the way, then,” she said, rolling her shoulders as she adjusted to the shift from battle to relative peace.

This was no ordinary scan. This was the gaze of something ancient, something that had once ridden through the dead of night, spotting lost souls that needed to be taken across the countryside. The air felt heavier, the unseen becoming just a little more visible.

And something was definitely watching them.

Amidst the vibrant web of souls that made up the forest’s life force, there was a shadow. A void. Everything living - plants, animals, even insects - had a soul, their energies flickering like candlelight in his vision. But this… this was an absence, a thing that should not be, yet undeniably was.

His instincts screamed at him.

A normal soul-vision user wouldn’t have noticed. The lack of a presence meant it should have been imperceptible, blending seamlessly into the background. But Jack wasn’t normal. The thing living (Weeping Angel) in his head made sure of that. And because of that, he didn’t just see it, he saw its shadow.

A Mistwraith.

A creature born for eat the remnants of deads. A thing that did not belong.

Jack’s breath steadied as he adjusted his grip. The turnip’s spectral glow flickered, uncertain, as if recoiling from the sight of the soulless entity.

He didn’t know if it had noticed him yet. But if it had… then this situation had just become a lot more dangerous

(I meant and assumed the folklore meant souls as in like people as a opposed to a life scan but I'll just blame the angel) "It's a mistwraith." Jack whispers to the group.

"It's a mistwraith." Jack whispers to the group.
Noah try to remain calm without actually look for it, thinking it would cause the Mistwraith notice they know about it

"You know in what direction" Rex comment while try to be calm

"Yeah, yeah... sigh....so tired....."
