Here we go again

How long till season 5, I wonder?
2030 maybe...
They better adapt it perfectly, every dialogue, without any missing content. The voice and acting etc.
Never going to happen, every season has cut content. For me I just enjoy the anime for what it is, the voice acting and animations gives life to the novel, but it's never going to have everything.

What I do like seeing which the anime gives are scenes like last episode when Reinhard came rocketing in, he is clearly in emotion distress, and now only sees himself as a tool, he isn't Reinhard the person, but just the Sword Saint. A lot of people pick up on these undertones, well not the causal reactors, but there are some good reactors out there, who actually pay attention to the story.

From Visual Complete 2, Elsa survived an attack that split the sky (Reinhard in Volume 1)
Guard 1: [Oi! Have you found the woman on the wanted poster!?]

Guard 2: [Nah, she ain’t here. Her appearance stands out, so there’s no way she could’ve been overlooked…]

Guard 1: [Do you suppose she’s hiding somewhere? She clashed with Reinhard-sama, didn’t she? A bunch of people saw the light of his sword strike the sky. I don’t think she could survive that…]

Guard 2: [The fact that Reinhard-sama couldn’t finish her off is probably the cause of all this fuss!! She’s a menace who escaped from the Sword Saint’s blade. How can you call yourself a knight if you’re just gonna let her run wild in the Royal Capital?]
Subaru: [With such a bombastic title, it really resonates with my chuuni mind.]

Reinhard: [I am honored that you like it, but I personally feel that I am still too inexperienced to carry the title. The title of Sword Saint has been passed down through the generations.]

Subaru: [I seem to remember that building and the sky being cleaved in half; is that not enough? Are all the previous Sword Saints monsters like that?]

Reinhard: [The first Sword Saint is said to have clashed with a Dragon using only a sword. That sword has been passed down to me, but the dilemma is that my own will cannot draw it. It would be presumptuous of me to call myself a Sword Saint when the sword itself has not even recognized me, would it not?]

Subaru: [From my point of view, it seems like the sword is a bit too extravagant.]

From Kararagi Shinigami Incident 2, the power of large-scale magic can be concentrated into a small attack
As she spoke, the woman raised up her palm as if to present it to him, and thereupon began to form a tiny tornado.

Its size was nothing compared to the maelstrom that held Mimi and the others afloat overhead, but the fact that it housed the same scale of power within, he understood.

That was to say, the palm had enough power concentrated within it to level a city, and it was now being pointed directly at Ricardo――,

Tia: [Repent the fact that you ever picked a fight with me.]

From Undead Busters 2, just mana alone can be dangerous in great volume, and Cecilus gets chucked out of a window
Vincent: [No, or else―― Priscilla’s death will have been for naught.]

Arakiya: [――Hk.]

In the following moment, a heat wave spread throughout the Emperor’s office, and Spica reflexively held her head.

That was a reaction borne out of instinctual fear, vigilance, and various other things. Emanating from Arakiya’s body was an impulsive fury that could not be identified as hostility or murderous intent; volatile in nature, it seeped out as a torrent of vast, aimless Mana.

But, just as how a Dragon’s breath was a wave of pure Mana aimed in a single direction, even if it was Mana that had not been shaped by the likes of magic, if it was vast enough in quantity, then it would easily give rise to peril.

The same applied to the current predicament, so Spica had no idea why Vincent had said such a careless thing, and it caused her to feel angry, a sensation as if her blood was flowing the wrong way.

The coiling eddy of Mana whirled around the office, and things were about to get bad――,
Because Cecilus was there with them, there was no doubt that Vincent judged it safe to purposely speak in a way to provoke Arakiya.

That was the immense level of trust that the Emperor of the Vollachian Empire placed in the Blue Lightning――,

Arakiya: [Die.]

Cecilus: [Hu~h~!?]

Immediately after, Cecilus, revolving with tremendous vigor, passed over Vincent’s head, and smashing through the window past him, he was hurled outside the palace along with shining shards of broken glass.

As Cecilus faded from view, the only thing Spica could do was blink her eyes, thinking that this was not how it was supposed to go. Bearing witness to the same sight as her, Vincent crossed his arms, closed a single eye, and,

Vincent: [Thereby, it shall be you. Do it, girl.]

Spica: [Au!?]

Groovy was kind of a joke in Ex4, but I really think he was a highlight of arc 8.

Honestly more than the aggressor side of Al's Authority, I'm more interested in the Phantom Wolf and what "feeding it your shadow" really means.

Speaking of Al's Authority, this was kind of funny (NO STELLA NO LIFE 2)
Aldebaran: [Same signal as before. Don’t betray me this time.]

Witch: [I shall keep it as a goal to endeavor towards.]

Aldebaran: [Now that’s a statement I can’t ignore… ――Expand Territory, matrix redefinition.]

After his dejection, Aldebaran accessed his Authority―― his own cognition enclosed around the world, intoxicating him with a sense of omnipotence as he bent the laws of reality to his will.

In this moment, the world was divided into a multiplex hierarchy of layers within Aldebaran’s hand――,

Witch: [――Goa.]

For the first time, he comprehended that the scorching flames engulfing his life would even burn away his death throes.

This is something I always wondered. Cecilus' VSBW page is different from his Re:zero fandom page. The Re:zero fandom doesn't have star actor's stage but has the space slash attack listed while his VSBW page doesn't have it under his notable techniques. I do know it's under his P/A section as Spatial Manipulation. Just something I always found odd.

Because it's not a notable technique, it's just a basic trait of any attack of his with a sword. The same as is true for any top tier swordsman in the verse.

I guess more specifically it'd be a trait of swords themselves. They have a set "potential" within them, that's usually uses up over time as a blade dulls, chips, and rusts. But— it's possible to exhaust all of its potential in a single swing, which is what Reinhard and Cecilus did.

The Dragon Sword is indestructable so it cannot dull or chip or rust, and Reid's "sword" is immaterial and manifested through any object so he doesn't "use up" his weapons.

Woe apparition strength is based on distance from her prison in the Augria Sand Dunes. Ginunhive is over twice the distance of Chaosflame. It takes two Ceciluses to take down Ginunhive Satella (Chisha copied him). Tanza is stronger than Cecilus confirmed.

Consistent. Cecilus couldn't injure Yorna (the strongest being within the Vollachian Empire) 🫡

Nah, Cecilus glaze was cool
"I'll leave it at that. After all, no one can stand on the same level as Cecilus Segmunt. --Except for the 『Sword Saint』 and 『Praisers』."

"... Your name is coming up even here, Reinhardt, you're truly worldwide."

In truth, Subaru had seen with his own eyes that Cecilus’s fighting power was out of control.

In the fierce battle against the Witch, the true value of the Blue Lightning was certainly on full display. However, it wasn't the young Cecilus himself who was displaying it, but rather Chesha, wearing the Mask and disguised as the adult Cecilus.

To Subaru, who had witnessed Reinhard's extraordinary combat up close twice, it seemed to him that the strength of the adult Cecilus could certainly be placed in the same category as a Transcendent.

And of course Tappei had to say it himself again on his Twitter for Cecilus' birthday
And now, the 2nd of April, is the birthday of Cecilus Segmunt from Re:Zero! It's a busy tweet, but Cecilus isn't busy either, so we're on the same page!Today's birthday is based on the idea that the fastest man deserves the fastest birthday, and since he and Subaru are good friends, a joint birthday party would be nice! Please say congratulations!

Okay so Chisha can copy 80% of anyone's power and can use Cecilus' at basically any time because Cecilus always lets him keep masks from him. And it says a lot of Cecilus' achievements are actually Chisha's. This guy is the fourth place divine general btw. My potential hot take is that this actually makes sense because Sword Identity kinda shows that Cecilus would take serious damage from Arakiya if she hit him. She just only ever grazes him because speed is his whole thing. And Olbart was able to break though Yorna’s defenses with special techniques while Cecilus couldn't. They both have areas where they are better than him. They just aren't as strong overall. Kinda reminds you of Someone... Though ofc this would all only apply to pre-named chapter buff Cecilus. I'd assume 80% of him after it ***** all over Olbart lmaooo.

Actually, it's best to ask here.
we're going to have to set a default precedence for how Regulus and his wives are going to work out in terms of position. Been reading through some Regulus threads and no one is able to make up their mind on whether his wives would be next to him or scattered throughout the main SBA area. This would allow shit to be clear for subsequent Regulus fights, especially in the scenarios where OPs don't clarify anything about his wives.
I ask this because I have a high chance to fire up a Regulus matchup once whatever I'm working on has been completed and passes the CRT.
If it is SBA and/or unspecified, how would it affect his wives, who are a part of his standard equipment?
What would be the correct way to specify and take into account his wives in a matchup to be fair?
I heard there's one particular place in the series that has all his wives in one place. What will happen if the matchup takes place there?

It’s not really the place that’s the cause of why all the brides were gathered, it’s the fact that Regulus was having a wedding/adding a new wife to the harem and he had all of his wives gathered to prepare the venue and witness the wedding. So all the wives are gathered only for when Regulus takes on another bride.

Throughout the story, Regulus is rarely seen strolling around with his wives.

At the end of arc 3, he’s on his own during his introduction, though the author has said one of his wives was outside the forest.

In the arc 4 flashback, he’s alone and at the beginning of arc 5 he’s also on his own.

In a side story where Regulus destroys the city of Guaral, he has one wife with him.

It’s extremely rare for all of Regulus’ wives to be gathered at the same location or near Regulus himself when the latter is going around killing people, they should usually be at his mansion, whose location is unknown.

Ok so let's say a Regulus matchup has been made, and the place is unspecified, so by SBA, it'd be in central park. Would this also assume Regulus would at least have a wife together with him in this place (distance is also unspecified, so it'd be naturally assumed that she'd be like very far from him, like you guys have said many times in different regulus threads).

Would it be ok to specify how many wives he would have in the vicinity with him, like say I will write in my description that Regulus will have all his wives and stuff. Just that they'd still be far away and scattered or something, rather than concentrated in one place or even next to him or something.

Yeah it's allowed to put his wives wherever you choose, as we have the flexibility to determine the distance in matchups.

I've also come across a few matches that were accepted where the standard equipment distance was determined by the OP

I think we should discuss this before someone starts wanking...

How are we dealing with Reinhard "tanking" a blackhole after his arm was clearly inside of the event horizon?

I thought when we were talking about a mangled arm we would get something like it being ******* gone but this is otsuka's interpretetion:

Gl_KyVPW0AAj6ZB

It will take him literal seconds to heal from that

His hand wasn’t in it, the Dragon Sword was, he twisted it and made it disappear, but the after effects ****** up his arm, I think he would have been ripped to shreds if he didn’t have the Sword with him. Also, Reinhard can’t heal here due to the miasma keeping the micro spirits away.
Aldebaran: [――The Divine Protection of Shedding Blood.]

In the next instant, the tip of the Dragon Sword thrust into the singularity, and the black sphere was forcibly destroyed.

The Dragon Sword was said to be indestructible. Its strength had been proven beyond doubt, but Reinhard’s left arm, which had held the Dragon Sword as it disturbed the singularity, was destroyed.
