Sakamoto Days General Discussion Thread

Also, is Sakamoto stepping in the airplane so hard that it launches Gaku a ls feat?

If Sakamoto Days were to get an anime, how do you think the studio would animate it.

Like they would do like 3 chapters per episodes or do something what Yozakura Family is doing and mixes different chapters into an episode so it flow better.

And also, where do you think Season 1 would end (would it also be a single cour or 2 cour?)

Depends I guess. 3 Chapters max as far as I see
I don't see the point in mixing

S1 might end right after Kashima vs Taro fight.

This is very strange as there has been no previous advertisement for what could be considered one of the best seller in Shonen Jump currently.

And now we suddenly get info that Sakamoto Days is getting an anime from Twitter and that anime is going to happen later this year?!

Hello, I'm just a huge fan of Sakamoto Days like you guys so I made this doc on everything noteworthy for Sakamoto

Ok so if today's episode was anything to go off of, we may have to change the bullet calc now

Because while we now objectively see the inital point blank Distance Sakamoto was from the gun is infact the correct distance (and I'm ngl I'm still wondering why the accepted calc uses the distance after the gun was already fired as reference because force of the bullet shot would make the gun go back and thereby make that distance unreliable)

But because Sakamoto moves a much smaller distance than the one accepted before the trigger is pulled (Like he moves the height of a fork bare min) which would more than likely equate to comparable or less speed results than what we currently have

We need Kindaka saving Sakamoto from the recent chapter calculated. It smells easy High Hypersonic at absolute worse

I think I've a better one for ya. Shin getting past the lasers while they were being blocked by bullets smells like high end high hypersonic as well depending on much you assume he moved in that timeframe.

I've got an even better one for ya. Kindaka dodged Shin's Cursed Speech attack which is stated to be electro magnetic signals (light speed)

Yes, it moves very little.

Can you send me a link for that?
Well at the time there was no direct calc being made just me spit balling

But now that I've taken the time to calc it, it sadly got a little over Mach 18 lol

As a bonus here's also my attempt at remaking the bullet calc. It got over Mach 13

Like I said, Shin moving past the lasers while they are being blocked by bullets is way better.

Just estimate-wise, if we say it was a 9mm bullet with glock speed then it would've moved that distance in about 0.000024 seconds

Shin moved either his head, his head and shoulders or his entire torso through that distance (or more, there's argument for more) in that time.

Let's assume a head width of 25, head and shoulders as around 40 and full torso sprinting the way he did as 150 cm

0.25/0.000024 = 10416.66 m/s or 37497,6 kmh - High Hypersonic
0.4/0.000024 = 16666.66 m/s or 59997,6 kmh - High Hypersonic
1.5/0.000024 = 62500 m/s or 225000 kmh - Massively Hypersonic

Note:
depending on how you calc it, what distance you assume he moved and what weapons were used to shoot the bullets, as well as the actual bullet length, it could go up or down, although even the lowest interpretations would still be higher end hypersonic, though the higheset interpretations could go into MHS+ territory.
