Two WoG statements saying the same thing doesn't change the fact that the words 'plot armor' is not muttered nor implied in this god forsaken series.
The only person i can think of who could get plot related abilities who isn't the machine/the maker is viktor, strangely enough.

yes… the machine is controlling their actions, not that they have plot armor. Nothing hints at that giving them plot armor.

Deimos notoriously has died, and has an entire side plot about the fact he died. He was shot to death by an auditor amped Agent.
Thats not plot armor that’s immortality.

To be fair I'm mainly looking to stuff in the games and stuff also for when we make the profile of the S3LF Eater and the Arena mode protagonist what abilities are they getting?
(Mostly asking this because some of the hax for the arena mode dude are going to Phobos too and the S3LF Eater is ingraved in the universe itself)

Idc about the S-3LF Eater so idrk about him.
Off the top of my head the Arena Mode Player gets some Outerversal range from sacrificing himself to the nowhere, some resistance to mind, fate, and plot manipulation due to the machine and maker shenanigans going on between them.
