Welcome to the Game: Guess 2/3 of the Average!

Here’s how it works:
  1. Objective: Your goal is to guess a number between 0 and 100 (both 0 and 100 are allowed). At the end of the game, we’ll calculate the average of all the numbers guessed by the players. The winner is the person whose guess is closest to 2/3 of this average.
  2. How to Play:
    • Post your guess as a reply in this thread. You can only submit one guess, so think carefully!
    • Remember, your guess should be a number between 0 and 100.
  3. How the Game Ends:
    • The game ends if no one posts a new guess for 3 days.
    • Once the game ends, we’ll calculate the average and announce the winner.
  4. Example: Let’s say three players guess 20, 50, and 80.
    • The average of these numbers is (20+50+80)/3 = 50.
    • 2/3 of the average is 2/3×50 = 33.33.
    • The closest guess to 33.33 is 20, so that player wins.

I will make a start and guess 33.

Yes. If you think that gets you closer to winning, you can pick the same as someone else.

Still gonna get the result now, though.

So, with that in mind, let's calculate.
(33+42+31+36+41.41+37+79+26+31+71+40+33+57+42+27+50+41.6+27+100+99)/20 = 47.2005
That's the average. So 2/3rd of the average is
31.467

Therefore the winners with incredible foresight are
@Railgun and @ShionAH
both tied having guessed 31.
Congratulations!

(Counting Tllmbrg's vote has not changed the end result)

I would have been the winner if you don't take tllmbrg number cuz it was over before he commented.

I guessed first, therefore I am directly a superior being to the rest of you

You didn't Include @TWILIGHT-OP's guess in the calculation.

Yeah I was about to say that and if u remove tllmbrg number i would be the winner

I now realize I didn't even count your damn vote lol
Somehow that red just made it blend into the background. Like the signatures I usually ignore.

Anyway, new 2/3rd of the average is 30.92.
Or, if we don't count Tllmbrg, then 29.167

So, @TWILIGHT-OP joins the winners.

Thinking about this logically, everyone should have won and the fact that not everyone won is disappointing (ofc DT's original comment kinda foiled it)
