Okay, so a couple new things could be added thanks to... Well, an eight-page manga featured in UDON's swimsuit issue of Shantae. You know, the one that Matt Bozon directly contributed to? Anyway... Scans. First off, Shantae gets Resistance to Fire Manipulation by... Being rock stupid...:
Seriously, I'm pretty sure that under normal circumstances, manhandling fire like that would net you a Darwin Award 9 out of 10 times..! Although I don't think Uncle Mimic is doing himself any favors either, although in his defense, he's just tossing the fire in there as opposed to straight-up holding the fire like it were a random cat Shantae picked up:
That being said, apparently heart squids and health potions, which often become a mainstay in Shantae's inventory depending on whether you're one of those gamers who do no-damage runs in games or not, provide Purification Type 1 for getting rid of contaminants (Froglips poison) in water:
Bolo might get Heat Resistance for... Well, surviving heat that just straight-up turned two lobster girls into three-course meals:
Somehow the lobster girls would become alive again after Shantae smashed the tub (because Shantae had to be "that guy"), but still. Lastly... Risky would possibly get Resistance to Poison Manipulation for deliberately pressing her hands against Froglips mouths as they're spraying her:
Like, aside from pretty loose acknowledgement of Froglips poison, all Risky got is annoyance over the fact that the Tinkerbats thought the Froglips were a good idea. So yeah, there you have it.
