What is the average LS for a athlete?

For athletic humans
Kilogram (force)Metric tons (force)NewtonExplanation
120-2270.12-0.2271177.2-2226.87The weight of a mature lion.

Decided to copy paste this from my other Q&A: "Like, althletes can deadlift over 2x their bodyweight compared to regular people going by similar standards to how we accept lifts for our lifting levels"

Factoring that the average weights are 54-83 kg, an athlete should be capable of lifting over 108-over 166 kg on average. That would mean that not all athletes can lift up a mature lion.

TL;DR: Depends on the wieght of the athlete, but multiply their weight by 2 and you'll get the correct answer.

Tbh there are so many different types of sports and types of bodies that calculating an “average” is basically redundant (EX: An average professional strongman is far stronger than an average professional cricket player).

You’d be better off comparing athletes in a particular region of sporting, like “How much can the average Football player lift”, “How much can the average American Football Player lift”, etc.

Probably the best response for this question.
