All Purpose Dragon Ball Thread

My money is on Incon. Cell is far too arrogant to not try and test his powers, giving Super 17 free energy to enhance himself with.

That, combined with his Hyper-Sensitivity that counters IT, means that he effectively will be stronger, faster, etc.

He also can read/predict movements, allegedly, so Cell’s uber fighting style wouldn’t matter for very long.

Cell’s real wincons would be his physical options, like his acid blood or whirlwind blow, but Super 17’s Barrier was able to protect him from a self destruct technique that used absolutely all of SSJ4 Goku’s Energy, so him punching ain’t gonna do 17 in, and that Energy Barrier would probably keep everything else out, too.

On top of all of that, Super 17 has Infinite Energy, so he can fight indefinitely without tire.

The only real thing Cell has going for him is his laundry list of moves, giving him the ability to dupe himself, caused paralysis, etc. most of which he doesn’t use, and his death given immortality, which just prevents him from dying to a superior opponent and losing.

Not even Cell’s sealing would work, since his Hell version requires Frieza, and even saying it did, it was made clear that the manner of killing in Hell wouldn’t work on anything but the dead. On top of that, him eating Super 17 wouldn’t work, because he literally would not be able to stomach him, just like how he couldn’t stomach Goku.

This would be a slam dunk if Hit didn't stop time for people in broad daylight against Jiren and during a job. That was my point, saying it's retconned is an awful arguement, because he can both skip and stop time.

So like, it's not a retcon, Hit's time skip.... skips time.

Truly the biggest retcon of all time.
Doesn't he also evolve his Time Skip while fighting Goku to freeze him? I could have sworn that was how he dodged the X10 Blue Kamehameha.

What do you guys think of this?

Like, just ignore the video's title and everything beyond the 2:03 time stamp. Is this an immeasurable speed feat for Arale?

Yes, in the first few minutes Arale looks like she was traveling between space-time, so I'm sure she was, this through pure speed.

@Ss3micah would love to discuss this topic

Goku wasn't frozen, he still moved when Hitt started to attack him non stop with the improved time skip, granted, only his facial expressions, but still

And further, how was Hit acting, either? Before this moment Time Skip was literally King Crimson—Hit attacked during it, sure, but he was appearing in the Future to do so. That’s why Goku’s basic predictions WORKED.

In this scene, it’s functioning quite CLEARLY as a Time Stop, Goku’s reactions or not—It’s very clear Hit didn’t “skip” time. He literally just froze it and beat on Goku.

So regardless it doesn’t make sense.

Either Improved Time Skip can stop time, or he has another move called Time Skip that can also stop time.

No this is wrong, because hit was boasting about how he can now time skip 0.5s ahead now. So goku is clearly reacting and can feel the hits while getting hit in te future.

No. I'm referring to when he escaped X10 Goku's attack. Goku was moving during a Time Skip so Hit further evolved it, which is depicted as him freezing Goku mid-skip. Like a Time Skip within a Time Skip...which sounds a lot like the Cage of Time described as Hit using Time Skip continually only on his opponent, trapping them in time.

Or maybe he was just so fast during the improved one that goku couldn't react at all

Because goku was clearly not stoped in time during it at all

That is goku being so fast that he time traveled alongside hit to catch him mid skip

I think it's just a badly portrayed ability. We should throw any statements about it out and just focus on portrayal.

It sounds like we won't be getting blueballed this December. Toyotaro is going to be on a variety show for the 100th chapter's release in December where he will be lecturing three schoolkids on how to draw Goku. Doesn't make much sense to celebrate Chapter 100 in December without actually releasing it.
