God of War: Ragnarok Discussion Thread

Shouldn't Thor have Resistances like Ice Manipulation/Extreme Cold for being unaffected by Fimbulwinter and taking attacks from the Leviathan Axe? And would he have Resistance to Fire, Chaos and Holy Manipulation for withstanding attacks from the Blades of Chaos during the final fight?
Poison Manipulation, Sound Manipulation, Electricity manipulation, and resistance to Bifrost Magic as well.

Most of the gods do. Guess nobody felt like adding them

He should also have "possibly regeneration" and resurrection.
LMAO no, we already debated that shit ad nauseam with Weekly which turned into a clown show. Thor using CPR on Kratos isn't resurrection.

He literally said he resurrected him.
He also references how thor resurrects his goats in mythology as a tribute.
Already debunked by Bruno tho. It's just to show how strong Thor really is. Lore-wise it holds no importance.

Dosen't matter.
Eric Williams is the Director of the game.
He just calls it a homage, even says they could never bring the actual resurrection thing to full picture so they did a nod with it. Doesn't mean it's Resurrection.

Why does this exactly invalidate what he said previously? He outright said he resurrected him.
He never elaborates how, unlike with the Goats where Mjolnir isn't even at play, and the best visuals we are shown is the electricity doing that for him via CPR.

Well that was before he actually even seen heimdall fight
Mimir agrees with Kratos, and he's got the most experience out of the two (Freya and Kratos) regarding Heimdall's battle prowess, literally his only doubt was with regards to landing a hit on Heimdall.

Well in raw strength sure, none of heimdall beats kratos dudes were talking about raw strength snd Just a fight

When did Thor resist Bifrost?
...The same Heimdall that Kratos goes out of his way to mention he's killed stronger beings than?
Could've been referring to Herc and Zeus.

Because the gap between Heimdall and Thor level people isn't one-shot lvl, unlike Poseidon and Hades.

Bro what?

Heimdall is only Ares level...

Base Poseidon alone was implied to be going to one shot Ares in the GOW 1 Novel...

And Thor is at least Hercules level which is above Poseidon and Hades level ( at least individually )

He can tank bifrost based attacks when you fight him
???

Kratos doesn't have bifrost, otherwise it'd be on his profile.

Heimdall > Base Atreus, who can hurt people like Odin.

Also Heimdall > Base Atreus > Younger Post-God discovery Atreus = Baldur who knocked out Jormie.

And Baldur ~= 2018 Kratos (who is only slightly stronger) = Faye = Drunk Thor who's only somewhat weaker than his normal self.

There is absolutely no way atreus is equal to baldur 💀

Kratos has several ways to inflict bifrost, although he's much more limited in it's use then say Odin is (Kratos can basically shoot energy blasts and do the durability negating explosion shit but not all the other stuff)
