Is fate and probability manipulation based on possible situations that may occur. What if we remove any external variables in this scenario

  • We give all humans fate and probability manipulation without other abilities (stat human level)
  • At the same time the moon is approaching the earth and less than 500 KM from the surface.

The feats they have
  • There is a day without death due to accident, criminal attack, disease and etc.

Is there a possibility that they survive

They can survive under this type of conditions. Either way, it's somehow NLF to assume they can survive the destruction as they have barely any durability to begin with unless they change their own fate to survive it "somehow"

Don't mind me but you are not changing events here, you just changing the possibility. If you change the possibility to not let moon approach the earth, then ya, you can survive.

You need to consider if the possibility exists in verse or not.

You mean a possibility where the moon's orbit doesn't change at all? Something like choosing from infinite posibilites.

so the previous event unnaturally never happens. Is this still within the scope of their fate and probability manipulation? Even though the previous feat seems (somehow) natural.

Infinite possibilities are just a theory. You need to prove that the verse is question has this type of setting.

Also may I ask for which verse/or any instances/scans you are asking for?

this is just a random thought, i want to know how fate/prob users manipulate events naturally. for example always win, amazing plot armor

can they do impossible things with their abilities, for example giving fate of hero/savior of humanity to burger (laugh)

We don't give the abilities to people with plot armour neither will be considered as fate/probability manipulation

Even for high-level fate manipulation, can they "assign fate of protagonist" to something that doesn't have a mind, for example a cheese burger?

No, unless this is part of the scheme, but this is not high level fate manipulation to begin with. I would argue and say it is not even fate manipulation to begin with, rather plot manipulation.
