Well, the first few sentences definitely make it seem like it, but when Demons grow from human suffering they keep that power. It's basically like training but instead they torture people.

Coincidentally I'm also reading a series that has something like this in it and I'm considering making profiles for it.
But I think it would be something like empowerment and absorption?

I only started a short while ago and since I'm pretty busy I only managed to finish V1 recently, but I'm planning to read the other ones soon.
I definitely didn't expect to see another person who reads Torture Princess here though.

Ah I see. Yeah, from Volume 1 I already have a 9-A+ calc which the characters can scale above. However I'm on V4 and still no good feats or solid statements. The most frustrating thing about that is that Demons have Diablos power who is Gods equal and can destroy the world, yet since we don't know precise divide of power between them, low tier feats need to be used.
True. Actually couple of hours ago I asked if anyone here who has read Torture Princess knows where the characters scale. No one answered lol

Unfortunately, it's true that most of the AP feats are really vague, if they elaborated on them a bit more I'm pretty sure the verse could have a higher rating. I do remember some good speed feats, though.
