Is This Enough For All the Verse Powers?

I'm looking to see if a character from one of my verses qualifies for having all the powers of the verse from the following criteria:
-They were directly responsible for the creation of the entire verse, including its magic system.
-They exist within everything in the verse, including every character and supernatural phenomenon.
-Their existence sustains magic; If the character doesn't exist, neither does the verse's magic system.

I personally think all of this should be enough, but I wanted to double check.
 
If they created the Magic System which grants the verse all of its powers, that should be enough. (Assuming said Magic System does grant the characters within the story all of their powers, as in, it is the sole source of power for the characters). The rest of it honestly isn't needed to qualify, but it's good supporting evidence.
 
I thought we had stricter standards for this, but that's good to know. Touhou is well on its way to being the strongest tier 2 verse >: )
 
I mean I doubt we can make it any stricter than this lol. Any stricter than that and we'd just be applying unnecessarily strict standards for 0 reason.
 
There was just a staff discussion thread about this topic and i'm 87% sure that the very same type of reasoning being used here was considered invalid there.

You might want to check that out first to clear any doubts.

I don't think that ever concluded properly, and I did see a few staff in that thread say that some of what I presented here was good enough. I'm not sure if the "sustaining the verse's UES with your existence" thing was ever brought up either.
 
After reading the thread, I believe that the evidence provided is still rather sufficient, at least, when all 3 pieces of evidence are put together.

Being the Creator of a Verse's Magic System, on its own, would not grant you all the abilities that said System provides without further context or other supporting evidence. But, when you add on that they exist within every phenomenon, including natural and supernatural, I believe it becomes qualifiable. Add on the fact that their existence supposedly sustains the Magic System, and without the character, the abilities cannot exist, or cast, I believe it qualifies.

Basically, none of the evidence on its own qualifies. You'd require hefty supporting evidence or additional context to prove that this alleged character possesses all of the abilities possible with the Verse's Magic System, and I believe the 3 pieces of evidence you(Mokou) provided qualify all-together.

That's my opinion.
 
Nice, in that case, I'm hoping the upgrade thread for this (whenever I get around to it) should be relatively uncontroversial.
 
Hopefully. Preferably, I would gather much more evidence, should it exist, than you provided in this thread to further support your case, but that is just my opinion, again.
 
Yeah, that's part of the reason I decided to take a long break from making Touhou threads. Everything else I can add is going to be arguably even more controversial than before, so I need every bit of evidence I can get.

And I'll be really disappointed in this wiki if the same mods that vehemently waived aways any and all evidence for Arceus having all powers away, agree to this

Anyways I honestly don't care about your Arceus obsession, I've read that thread and I also disagree with it having all the verse powers. Gonna make a callout post about me too?
 
I do have other verses, it's just the Touhou is in a dire state rn and takes up like 99% of my time (which makes sense since it has way more content than most of my other verses ever will). Also I'm pretty sure @ActuallySpaceMan has worked on way more verses and is planning to add another one besides LDG so, lol, lmao even.
 
The new DLC apparently has some crazy shit so I probably need to rework a lot of profiles.

Actually, would it be a good idea to create a general discussion thread/CRT for feat gathering if there's enough interest in the verse?
