Because the last CRT established that Mario's profiles should be split depending on different game canons, Mario from MK was the first to be made.

It's complicated. Long story short, since Mario is a composite with a lot of anti-feats, multiple profile splits were decided upon.

Well smoosh all the games together and his Galaxy level stuff is treated as an outlier and we’d end up sticking him into Tier 8-6 ish I’d bet
He’s very obviously inconsistent, a profile split is the best way to address that

or just, ignore the anti-feats because every cartoony character ever will get overpowered by a single ant and then turn around and unravel the universe, mario doesnt have to be constantly performing cosmic level feats he has enough already
