Depends on who's soul crush you're talking about; there's a huge difference between like Early Bleach Ichigo's SC and Yhwach or Aizen's SC.

AP has nothing to do with it, you resist it with resistance to soul hax and that's it.

I meant the way it works in bleach. Apparently we don't give layers to hax based on power level so once you're relative to a bleach character and resist soul hax, you're safe

That isn't even how it works in Bleach though, Orihime is a prime example of this. People faultily assume as much because generally a stronger character has a stronger soul, so they correlate the resistance with strength and then try and apply that to other verses through verse equalization

It doesn't mention anything about AP or power level on the soul physiology page

Aura (Overwhelming, Fear Inducement, Materialized, Explosive: Reiatsu induces a plethora of different aliments/effects onto those that affected by it like Soul Manipulation, Paralysis Inducement Fear Manipulation and many other)

It doesn't mention it on Aizen's profile who's most known for soul crush

Limited Passive Existence Erasure (Aizen's Reiatsu is so potent that anyone with a sufficiently weak spirit will be erased by extremely close contact with him. This effect also applies to inanimate objects to an extent as Don Kanonji's staff was erased, but the chair which Aizen was restrained to was unaffected)

The whole "it's countered by physical stats" routine has been done literally hundreds of times, and yet not once has it actually been accepted, and for good reason, because it's wrong.

That's been discussed dozens of times yes, anything you can think of pertaining to soul crush has been discussed ad infinitum, it's one of the most popular topics on this site and the manga ended six years ago, there's not a single thing you can think of that hasn't been discussed multiple times.

As for your point specifically, it can be seen as supporting what's already accepted, Aizen believed Ichigo lost his Reiatsu, not that Ichigo lost his soul.
