If a character has complete control over all laws of nature, will that include law of causality?

Well I'm not sure whether that counts as a law of nature

Causality is not a law, is a principle, you can't just stick the word law to everything a called it a day; plus, no.

It's generally called the law of cause and effect. Can you elaborate why it's not a law. I don't quite get the principle thing
