-This verse is too outdated
-There is only one userblog about the calculation for this verse
-There are only a two character profiles in this verse that have scan feats on their profiles
-Many supporters of this verse are no longer active or not interest to support this verse
I agree with Confluctor, I dont think they quite deserve deletion yet but are definitely very outdated and need some reworks.

Summaries and plagiarized content can easily be changed.

Scans can also likely be found relatively easily enough.

While it can, there are many profiles that are locked and can't be edited. In addition, they're pretty widely of extremely poor quality anyways, with missing abilities, powers, and poorly made sections.

The scans are also not as easy to find as you imply here. There are dozens of scans for each profile, and some of the profiles have no scans because they are exclusively Japanese characters at the moment and aren't in the English release.

Overall these profiles are of extremely poor quality, lacking scans, and outright plagiarized from the Type-Moon Wiki. They should be deleted.

For the "plagiarized" content, what I've taken from the wiki is literally their official description so I don't see the problem at using these parts for the skills and NP (I can still change them but most would be similar anyway). The summaries however I can easily change them while keeping the most important elements

For the scans, I need to know what I have to find and I'll search for them but this won't be easy honestly (lack of English translation)

For missing powers and abilities, I just need to know what's missing and I can add them, though I can't for locked profiles

There's been a CRT in the works for the Lostbelts as a whole, where we gathered scans for every ability.

For some context, Lostbelt 2 is 11 hours long when boiled down to just its cutscenes. Finding the scans and collecting them has been a massive undertaking for the people who are working on said CRT.

Honestly? I don't see an issue with copying and pasting character summaries or whatnot. Or even notable attacks and stuff. There are no brownie points for coming up with original descriptions for everything. Why increase one's workload?

Because plagiarizing goes against wiki policy.

From the Editing Rules:

  • Please do not plagiarize from other wikis or online databases. It is unprofessional and shows a lack of effort on the part of the user. If you are getting your information from another wiki, please rephrase and summarize the passage in your own words instead of simply copying it.

Didn't know such thread existed in the first place

For the record, Manaka and Merlin aren't about Lostbelts (doesn't change the problems from the profiles but still noteworthy)

Can someone please delete the following profiles:

Godzilla, Mothra, Mechagodzilla, Battra, King Ghidorah, Rodan, SpaceGodzilla, Gigan, Biollante, Destroyah, Shinji Ikari, and Asuka

I'm the author of these profiles, but the reason behind this decision of mine is that these profiles belong to Crossover characters with no story relevance in Monster Strike.
Will say that from what I'm seeing some pages do scale to stuff in the verse so you should change the reasoning there (Like this one https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/Brahma_(Monster_Strike) )

Agreeing with this, not even for my personal case but in general, summaries can be rephrased but copying and pasting at least notable attacks shouldn't be a problem if they are good enough
Well, I don't think that we should be overly strict to the point of deleting otherwise good profile pages for these sort of reasons, unless the cases are very extreme, but we should still try to discourage plagiarism unless it is necessary/very hard to avoid.

Anyway, the tiers seems a bit wonk, but they aren't deletion worthy IMO. Do they lack scans? Yes, but not all files lacks them. Although they are in another language. So that's something

Perhaps somebody should start a content revision thread and summon the currently active verse supporters to there?

That is going to take a long while given the lack of active supporters and lack of translations for any of the verse material.

There were quite a lot of supporters listed though.

Well, we could just send a notification to all of the ones who are currently active and see what happens at least.

I do not remember the conclusions by our staff and honorary staff members here in that regard.

Everything without a calc was agreed to be nuked, only 13 pages were found that actually had them

If one does find themselves needing to copy/paste a section, you should credit the place where you got it from. Most content on wikis (including ours) is under a license where you're allowed to copy it as long as you give credit.

How do we credit it? With a link somewhere or we mention the original stuff?

So just to be clear, what is the issue with the PC verse? If calculations exist and other characters scale to them, what makes those pages worse than the ones that performed the feats? Generally they're not very high quality but it doesn't seem inherently deletion-worthy.

Only 12 of the pages actually scale to the calcs, the rest are as far as we can tell guesswork and based on questionable stuff
Also the only 2 supporters want it nuked

So only said 12 pages stay with the rest being in theory redone later

Credit texts at the bottom of such pages seems like a reasonable solution, yes.
