If Anos was Akuto Sai right now, then he would probably be upgraded to Boundless cuz of favoritism, despite the awful translations.

Anos can be seen, at a first glance, to be an OP character that faces no challenges whatsoever. He also seems to be a bit one-dimensional, in terms of what I remember, just being sort of...blank I guess. Usually, people don't like that because they can create a deeper connection to a character that struggles and overcomes, making them finally beating their challenge all the more satisfying. Anos...doesn't really do that, solving every problem that comes in his way. It only makes it worse considering how he is rather powerful here on sight, just increasing his OP status.

tl;dr? Anos is an OP character, both in story and vsdebating

I actually like Anos and though the anime felt average, it was funny and entertaining and that's what matters the most.

I have 50/50 negative experiences interacting with the Maou Gakuin fandom though, but I don't let that affect my perception of the character. I steer clear of fandoms in general because of this. The toxic tends to be vocal.
